We are in the final stretch of the wedding season!
LFG!
#septemberbride #weddingflowers
Come check out our new studio!
In this creative industry we constantly struggle for inspiration and in a sense, purpose.
We get up in the morning and put flowers in a vase.
The why,
for who
and even the where
is just window dressing.
This momentary art sometimes catches up and reminds us that regardless of the occasion.
Our work has to be elegant and with style.

Many thanks to @theblushingdetails and team for having us be part of this beautiful wedding in Las Vegas!
Roses, crystal and candles everywhere!
Let’s do it again!
The food is amazing!
Chef Carlos Gaytán congratulations and thank you for having us participate in your grand opening!
Echale Ganas!
See you tomorrow @southcoastplaza at @fleursdevilles “meet and greet!”
All participating designers will be there to discuss all things pretty!
Don’t forget to vote for us.
See you there!
It is a must!
We are lucky that a lot of clients say “I trust you Ricardo! I know it will look amazing!”
I still want that sample appt to make sure we are all achieving the same vision.
Most importantly.
We don’t limit how many phone calls or in person appts each client requires. If we can do it in a phone call and 1 person appt. Perfect!
But some clients require a color palette and texture appt. We need to review linens and chairs. Napkin folds, etc…
We want you to feel completely comfortable we will get every detail.
We are tortured artists!
Unlike a painting or a sculpture our art is temporary.
We don’t keep it.
We can’t take it with us.
For most days. The minute we are done. We get 10 seconds to admire it and move on to the next masterpiece it.
Letting go of something beautiful is something we learn to do.
Therefore I believe we have the highest appreciation for life’s amazing moments.
For “beauty is fleeting…”
1. Roses are one of the oldest flowers in the world. There are rose fossils that date back 35 million years. The oldest living rose is 1,000 years old, and it lives on the wall of the Cathedral of Hildesheim in Germany!
2. All Roses are edible. Rose petals are often added to jellies and used as a flavouring in Chinese and Indian cuisine. Your favourite tea or cocktail might even be infused with rose Petals.
3. The National England flower is a Rose. The Tudor Rose refers to England’s emblem of peace at the end of the War of the Roses, the civil war between the royal house of Lancashire, which wore a red rose, and the royal house of York, which wore a white rose.
4. David Austen’s “Juliet” is the most expensive Rose. It took 15 years and cost £2.3 million. It was first displayed in 2006 at Chelsea Flower Show. This iconic rose has a distinctive full cup with beautiful petals, whilst its colour resembles an apricot.
5. 54% of the land in Ecuador is filled with Roses.
There is natural light all year round providing the perfect climate for flowers to thrive with longer growing cycles.
Happy birthday Sofia!

❤️🫵🏽
I guarantee you will enjoy every second of your day!
1. What do you need a watch for? You think the ceremony will start without you? If it’s 5 min late, it’s 5 min late! Everything is already planned for you. All you need to do is be happy and ready!
2. Very important. Whatever helps you relax. Do it and enjoy the beautiful process. “Stand here
smile. Now go here!” Remember. We are all here for you! 🫵🏽
3. Candid shots are the best! Take a pic of your POV of the flowers, the candles, your crystal charger plate. Your mom’s corsage! The photographer will do an amazing job. But your POV is unique!
4. Yes!! Your baker and florist may not need to know each other. But they both have an important job to do. The more they know about each other. The more we can handle the unexpected. “The more you know. The more you are worth!”
5. Enough said. Whatever your worst nightmare scenario is. Trust me! Your event planner can handle it way better than YOU can. 😉
They are the unsung heroes of a flawless “father and daughter dance”.
The puppet masters of turning a rainy outdoor wedding into an “cozy indoor lobby ceremony.”
Now all you have to is “look amazing and have fun on your amazing day! 😎🍾
“Irises” by Van Gogh was painted while he was in a hospital. This, he said, was the only way to calm his anxiety and focus on the work in front of him.
He considered this particular painting a “study” which explains why there are no sketches or drawings prior to it.
A “study” by definition has no finish. It can continue as long as the artists feels it has potential.
In the same way Irises Designs is an ongoing study into the fine art of floral design.
We will continue to pursue it and just like the real “Irises” we hope it will never be finished.
