Registration Opens Feb 1! The Queen City Triathlon, destined to be one of the nation's premier short course triathlons and kicks-off the exciting new OH I-71 Race Series will take place on Sunday, June 22 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Athletes from across the region will gather on the Ohio riverfront for an epic race against the backdrop of the City of Cincinnati, Ohio. The event features:
Iconic River Swim: Jump into the Ohio River from the BB Riverboat for a swim that is as invigorating as it is iconic. With Cincinnati's skyline as your backdrop, the Queen City Swim promises to be one of the most unique open water swim experiences you can have.
Bike on a Closed Course: Bike on the closed-to-traffic Highway 50 in Cincinnati that runs along the Ohio River that showcases Ohio's urban landscape. The course is flat and fast.
Best Run Ever: The run will take you across the Ohio River on the world-famous Purple People Bridge to Kentucky and back across the river and then along the Ohio River before returning for a thrilling finish at Yeatmans' Cove.
Awesome Race Site & Transition: Transition and Celebration take place at Yeatmanโs Cove and the famous Serpentine Wall that makes a long stretch of park along Cincinnati's riverfront
A Race For Everyone: The Queen City offers Mini, Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike racing options. With distances for all ability levels, the event provides both individual divisions to take the course on solo and relay teams to take on the race with one or two teammates.
