The Arcadia Bluegrass Festival started in September 1984 and celebrated 35 years September 20-22, 2018. A second festival was started in April of 2002 and lasted through 2015. The first indoor Jam was held in March 2005. The last Arcadia jam was Oct 9, 2019 under the management of Bill and Linda. We have officially retired and want to thank everyone and the musicians who attended this festival and jam’s over the years. The Arcadia festival ended Sept. 2018. The Festival in September now continues under new leadership in 2019 and under a new name, the Upperco Music Festival. The Jams are starting back on Feb, 12, 2020. also under new management, and will be held once a month, on the Second Wednesday night of each month. All proceeds go to the Upperco Vol. Fire Co.
