Thank you to all that have reached out over the past couple of months about our studio closing. Lately I have recieved messages asking how they can help keep it open. It isn’t for lack of resources that I am closing the studio. It is simply that I don’t have the time to nurture this business while in school. Time is my enemy. These messages have led me to also realize that it is the perfect time for me too advocate for my fellow small businesses owners.
🎙️REAL TALK🎙️
Key points to keeping your other favorite businesses around.
STOP DOING THIS….
🫣Waiting for a business to announce closing before singing its praises!
😬Complaing about businesses closing and saying “there is nothing to do around here”. If you aren’t supporting the businesses that are here, why would new businesses want to come.
😢Waiting until a business is closing to support it! There are many ways to support without spending money.
PLEASE DO THIS….
😁Write reviews singing praise NOT just when you don’t like something
🥰Share out posts made by the business. Our biggest marketing is word of mouth. You don’t have to book the event, session, buy the clothes, the plants or whatever, you just have to hit the share button.
🤩Tag the business when you post. If you bought an outfit from a small business tag them. Did you post that family, wedding, newborn pic? Tag your photographer & the location.
📸We will be open to rentals until Mother’s Day weekend and I have new Spring and creative sets coming out next week.
❤️❤️❤️My hope is that not only will you support this business in its remaining months but you will also take a walk around, see what the town offers and support the other businesses. Each one has amazing things to offer from fun coffee shops and boutiques to shops with sweets and meals you can take home for dinner.❤️❤️❤️
✨✨✨Please please please comment with your business or your favorite businesses to support. After that everyone take the time to visit a business page and share 1 post. Thank you!✨✨✨
