We are truly grateful for the support of the UYC's mission which is helping so many of our local youth. They are our future!

UYC received a $100,000 donation in July as part of its ongoing fundraising efforts. This contribution was a doubling down in support from the R.C. Appenzeller Family Endowment Fund of The Dayton Foundation, who previously donated $45,000 in 2023.

TWISTERS debut is blowing away box office expectations.... With the film currently standing at a “fresh” 78% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a A-CinemaScore from opening day audiences it is poised to well exceed original projections.

Collider’s Jeff Ewing wrote in his review that the movie “boasts strong visuals, memorable scenes, and impressive scale alongside stellar character work from an exceptionally talented and charismatic cast.”

'TWISTERS' may do some damage at the box office.

The movie, a standalone sequel to the 1996 disaster epic 'Twister' is expected to generate a sizable $50 million plus when it touches down in 4,000 North American theaters this weekend.

It stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos as storm chasers who find themselves in the fight of their lives as multiple tornadoes converge over central Oklahoma.
