Happy Tifton's Hometown Holidays Celebration, everyone! 🎄 We hope you will join us for this FREE family fun, community event as we kickoff the holiday season and make lasting memories together.

Make sure you KNOW BEFORE YOU GO and let's have a magical time!
🎄 All of the attractions are FREE.

🚓 The Christmas parade will begin at 5pm! The route will begin lining up at the corner of 2nd Street and Magnolia Drive. The parade will travel east toward downtown, take a left on Love Ave./Main Street and travel north, ending at the corner of 8th Street and Love Avenue.

💛 Representative Penny Houston will lead the way of our parade as she is our 2024 Grand Marshal.

🎄City Council will light the tree after the parade around 6:30pm at City Hall, so get everyone together and let’s head downtown!

❣️ Take a wagon ride to Fulwood Park and enjoy the beautiful lights! Pick Up and Drop Off will be at the intersection of Love Avenue and 2nd Street beginning around 7pm.

⭐️ Don’t forget to with our merchants in Downtown Tifton! Many will be having sales and giveaways.

🍿 Come hungry. Our Food Trucks will be set up along our Food Truck Alley inside Cato Knight and Food Vendors will be located along Love Avenue.

🎁 Find the perfect holiday gift as you shop with our Maker's Market Vendors along Main and 3rd Streets. They are all local to our community!

📸 Look for our THREE photo opportunities and capture the perfect holiday photo of your loved ones!

❄️ Enjoy our Winter Wonderland as you slide down Snowzilla Jr and into the snow. Spin around our ice skating rink at the City Hall parking lot and Commerce Way.

🎡 We promise you will have lots of fun as you take a ride on our 5️⃣ carnival rides! The lines may be long but it will be worth the wait as you enjoy riding the Dragon Fly Bench Swing, Turbo Tubs, Rapid Slide, Super Chair Swing, and Trackless Train. The rides will be located inside Cato Knight.

🎤 You will hear live music throughout our downtown, all night long! aPeal Quartet will kick off on the Main Stage, Laura Wiley Music will be singing some tunes at 3rd and Main, and live carolers will be at The Syd!

🚽 Bathrooms will be provided by Golden Environmental! You can find bathrooms throughout the event area.

⚠️ Please be mindful of road closures that will be happening throughout our community!

🎅 Meet Jolly Saint Nick and take a picture with him under the intersection of 3rd and Main Streets.

This event attracts more than 10,000 people to our downtown! We ask for patience as we know there will be lines and crowds. Hey, hey! 👋🏼 Sometimes, plans do not always work out like we hope no matter how hard we try. 🧡 Due to other events being rescheduled and happening in our community, majority of food trucks and vendors are unable to attend our event this Friday night. We have tried extremely hard to make other arrangements but we are going to go with the flow and hope you will too!

Good news is, we are still planning to hold our event! 🎉 To help make up for things out of our control, we will be giving away freshly grilled hotdogs while supplies last! 🌭 So, y’all bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and come ready for a fun evening in Fulwood Park.
