I received my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University and was a Certified Speech Language Teacher for 2 year
s in Clarksville, Tennessee until I had my two children. Looking back over the years, I have planned several events out of fun for close family and friends from birthday parties, to bridal and baby showers, my own wedding, and even the occasional business party. After moving back to Valdosta in 2017, I was asked to help plan a family member’s wedding. I had several people tell me that I needed to use my organizational and decorative skills to help others plan their special events…full time…as a profession…and get paid for it! Crazy concept, right? At the time, I was navigating being a single mom of two babies and working part time in an office just to get out of the house, so starting my own business then was a firm no! Obviously, it has taken a while but the encouragement from everyone has been more than I could ever imagine! Organizing, seating charts, timelines, and decorating are my jam and I love to bring others idea’s and visions to life! Anyone who knows me knows that my attention to detail is a little cray! If I have learned anything over the years, it is to step out of fear and into faith! Every day you wake up is a blessing from God so why waste it by not doing what you love! Outside of the planning world, I love being a mom to Maddie and Grady! After all, they are the inspiration behind my company name! Everything I do is for them! I’m also obsessed with coffee and everything about the fall season! I love watching old 80’s and 90’s movies, traveling (especially kid free), antique and thrift shopping, and finding the best local places to eat!
