Bachelorette sessions have really taken off in the past few years, and working with Kim and her girls was such a blast! This was actually one of the first bachelorette sessions I ever did, and since then, I’ve had the chance to do several more.

They brought a portable Bluetooth boombox and were dancing on a rooftop, and we even had people from the apartment windows across the parking garage watching us, totally entertained by our silliness. What a vibe!

This year, I want to focus on you.

What do I mean by that?

I get so many inquiries from people wanting a session just for themselves—whether it’s professional portraits for work, celebrating a birthday, bo***ir to boost their confidence, creative projects, or branding for their business. (And the list goes on for what type of self portraits they are wanting to do.) 🪩✨

’Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house,
I was editing photos, like a frazzled old mouse.
Traveling and clicking, with no time to spare,
Shopping online while I fixed my hair.

In the dead of the night, I’d upload with dread,
Trying to finish before I fell into bed.
My eyes were half-closed, my brain in a fog,
But hey, at least I remembered to edit that dog!

I passed out mid-edit, face on my screen,
Dreaming of sessions and lights all aglow,
Merry Christmas to me, I need sleep so bad,
But first—another photo to make me look fab!

Where it began, & some.

I was only twelve years of age when I discovered my passion for photography. It started with a family digital camera, that we took to every event or vacation. I remember my mother always telling me to be careful, and not to drop it. (since digital cameras were a bit more pricey back in early 2000.) I would always take portraits of plants, animals, or bugs. It always captured my attention at that age.
