Yard sale 6 is a wrap!  📸

What an incredible week with such incredible people. We had a big group of riders enter qualies on Wednesday, throwing down some great tricks that made determining who made it through very difficult.

Then over the next three days we saw the seven teams getting creative and working together to get the best clips for their videos. This event is all about the riders and it looked from our perspective like everyone was having a blast.

VWC is so proud to plan, organize and host this epic  event.  We can’t wait to see the final product from each team in a couple of weeks.

As most of you know, Valdosta was one of the areas to see significant damage from Helene. We initially weren’t sure we could get the park put back together in time to hold this event. But with the help and support from so many people we were able to make it happen. Valdosta Wake Compound can’t stress our appreciation enough for all the support we received. From the compound crew who lives and works there every day, to the wakeboard community who showed up early and often to clear debris and get the park back and running, to the local community who came out to help clean up, to the people who offered helping hands throughout the event , and to the many people who gave financial support and encouragement, we really want to thank you.

There are many reasons we think VWC is so special but this week it became more clear than ever that it’s the special people that make VWC what it is.   Thank you all!

Yardsale 6 qualifier pre registration. To register, scan Paypal code and pay the $75 contest fee and include the rider’s name in the comments section. $75 includes your entry fee to the Yardsale 6 Wild Card Qualifier as well as 2 hour practice session on the full cable on Wed the 9th.

Another awesome week for Backyard series. Lots of competitors came out to get a paid podium spot but these were the top three from beginner, intermediate and pro divisions. Come out next week, Thursday 5-7 for our next competition.

This summer we will be hosting a weekly competition on the full cable where every week a different feature or line will be chosen for participants to compete on.

This year we teamed up with our local to try to step up this weekly series and pay out the podium winners every week. We will be hosting 8 events with multiple divisions giving everyone a chance to compete and win some money.
