Last night at the Village Of Valley Stream Band shell, An audience of over 1,000 people enjoyed the great weather and the music of Vito Picone & The Elegants (Backed By The Coda Band), Stiletto & The Saxman - The Arminios, and Valley Stream Native Victoria Perrone.

Tonight at 8pm is Doo W*p Night at the Village Band Shell!
There will be 3 featured performers, Victoria Perrone, Stiletto & Saxman and Vito Picone & The Elegants performing their classic hit from 1958 “Little Star”.
Come early and don't forget to bring your folding chairs!

Last night I attended the Woodbridge N.J. concert with Bobby Wilson & Vinnie Medugno backed by the Chiclettes and the Coda Band. The concert was scheduled to be outdoors, but threatening weather brought it in to a nice Air Conditioned auditorium..

The man, the myth, the Legend Vito Picone ( Vito forgot his red pocket square, so you notice in the photos, Vito thought fast and improvised using red plastic coffee stirrers ) The multi talented Vito.
And yes, he told the audience that he used them, and lmao that they would be available on Ebay. He's a funny funny man.

On 8-13-23 awards were presented in memory of 2 original members of the Del Satins and Brooklyn Bridge, Les Cauchi and Freddy Ferrara. Stan Zizka presented the Les Cauchi's award to his wife Josiane and Tommy Ferrara present his brothers award to Freddy’s wife Janet. Here is the video of the presentation.

I got this at the Eisenhower Park Noon concert today starring The Arminios, And what do you know? I opened the box and it started to sing! Everyone wants to get into the act! Name that tune!
Even at the Concession, The worker's were dancing! Work-out ladies... Love the girl using the bottle as her microphone...
The last week at Stepinac High School, The Bronx Wanderer's performed this song, Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen It was amazing to watch and listen to.
Today I attended CELEBRATE LIFE - Don Monti Cancer Survivors Day at Northwell Health Cancer Institute where I was treated for Cancer. (I am a survivor 2 years now) One of the special guest speakers was Richie Cannata From The Lords Of 52nd Street, Billy Joels Original Sax player who is also a Cancer Survivor. We have met before, and we had a brief conversation. He Surprised all of those in attendance with this.... "NEW YORK STATE OF MIND"
