ittle bit about my background: I am originally from Nashville, TN and moved to Texas in 2010 for college. I received my Bachelors from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I met my husband, Daniel, in my last year of college in Texas and officially became a Texas transplant. Daniel and I were married in 2015 and our wedding was picture perfect. We planned, designed and coordinated the entire event ourselves and it was simply stunning. I look forward to curating and planning special events and getting to create personal connections with each client.

Taking a minute to introduce myself to kick off what is sure to be an amazing 2025! Hi, my name is MacKenzie, or Kenzie for short. 🤍 I love all things related to weddings and am a very type A personality. I love a good check list and plan - especially for a fun event!

I started coordinating and planning after my husband started managing the security for 2 wedding venues near our home. ( & ) He would come home and say "you can do this" and after about 1.5 years of him saying that I took the leap and dove in to the wedding industry - and let me tell you, I LOVE IT! I started working for the venues when they needed coverage and launched my business in 2019.

A little background on me:
Born in Missouri and with family in both Kansas and Missouri I am a true Kansas City Chiefs fan! You may see me doing set up in one of my many chiefs shirts. I grew up in Nashville, TN (specifically Franklin, TN) and my immediate family still resides there so we are typicality in Nashville 2-3 times a year to visit when we can.

I attended the University of North Texas and was originally a dual major in Vocal Performance & Music Education. I ended up changing my major to be Strategic Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Legal Studies in Business. I met Daniel, my husband, in my last year of college and I became a permanent Texan. I have over 10+ years experience working in social media & marketing.

Daniel and I live right next door to his parents in Valley View, Texas on the family farm Daniel was born & raised on. We own a cattle company where we breed and sell Scottish Highland Cattle as well as a direct to consumer beef. We also own a small herd of mini donkeys that we adore and use to do Beer B***o events at venues close to home & beyond. I am also a mom to my daughter Harlow, who will turn 3 in July 2025. She is every bit farm girl and loves her animals but also loves the "pretty flowers" momma brings home after each wedding!

Advice I give to couples that are trying to choose a photographer:
Find one that captures those ‘mini’ moments...the moments in-between the big group shots or the staged photos.
As a planner/coordinator I absolutely LOVE when I receive a gallery after a wedding and I can feel the personality of the couple coming through.
There are lots of amazing photographers who get the shot, but the ones that TRULY capture the personality of the couples are extraordinary.

Grateful to have been apart of Natalie and Steele’s Wedding day!

Happy, Happy Thursday! The sun is back out and we have a busy day of tours planned today! 2025 Spring and Summer is booking up quickly so reach out to us ASAP on updated available dates! We are so excited for Open tours next Saturday the 27th from 4pm - 6pm and the chance to come out and see the property on a Saturday! We do not tour on wedding days as we want our brides to be the only one on property. With that being said this is the only Saturday all year to be able to come out.. So bring the family and we will have a good time!
