You and your best mates will spend 1 hour becoming intimate with a 1.5lb piece of whirling wood and metal as you learn, practice and then finally square off toe to toe in a group tournament that will result in the crowning of an Axe Throwing Champion. Our Axe Throwing sessions are run by trained experts who will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you tips on how to capture that illustrious Bullseye!

Maxe Gaines here to post and celebrate some positive news for the holiday season! My business partner, Your Axcellency, is celebrating her birthday today! We met SOOOOO long ago, and who knew that karaoke and tabletop games at Corky's Place in Lakewood would lead to years of friendship and an Incredibly kind, caring and wonderful business partner! She will be working today (at her request) so all of her axe throwing friends can stop by and say hi! If you know Djenni, then you know that she is one of the most genuine, caring and compassionate people out there, and you should all stop by (or comment below) to throw some sharp stuff and wish her a happy 29th Birthday!!

This post is long overdue, but tomorrow we will be hosting a celebration of life for one of our favorite people, Tim Welms. Tim was an incredible person, and a great friend to may of us here at Lumber Legends, as far back as 2018! Tim was always quick to offer a tip on how to throw better, or offer you an IPA after a tough loss. Tim's Memory will live on here at Lumber Legends, and we will be closed to the general public from 12p to 5p for the event.

Feel free to bring your favorite beer or something small food wise to share if you'd like! We will be getting some pizza, salads and charcuterie provided by Tim's awesome friends and family (if you'd like to support these local entrepreneurs, links to their businesses will be in the comments below)! There is no charge for Tim's friends and family , and we will re-open to the general public at 6pm. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity during these trying times for Tim's family, and as odd as it may sound, we are looking forward to meeting those who loved Tim, and sharing our favorite stories and experiences with him throughout the day. See you all tomorrow!
