One good turn deserves another—and at San Dimas Masonic Center, that spirit keeps growing. Over the past few years, the lodge has become a dedicated supporter of local military families. Research shows that 1 in 5 military families face —including 1 in 4 active-duty families—a challenge driven by frequent relocations, higher unemployment among military spouses, and the rising cost of living.

In response, past lodge master Raymond Foster and the lodge have stepped up to help. Their ongoing effort has brought together volunteer organizations, fellow lodges, and local businesses. So far, this coalition has delivered 33 tons of food and essential supplies to military bases at Twentynine Palms, Camp Pendleton, Fort Irwin, and Los Angeles Air Force Base. They’ve also raised more than $30,000 to stock pantry shelves, provide holiday gifts, and offer emergency assistance.

“We’ve broken barriers and are more connected with the community than ever,” Foster says. “They know that Masons are men of substance and action, and that they can rely on us for service.”
