Happy Monday everyone!

WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS!

While most know with moms (Diane) health issues, she recently took another job a few months back. I watched mom start out of her kitchen, making chips & salsa. I would come home from school and practices to chips stacked to the ceiling on tables. Salsa in every square inch of ANY refrigerator space we had. The driveway always full of cars and people coming and going. Always having a permanent “perfume” called deep fryer. 😂🫣
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I HATED it. I had no interest in helping, I really had no interest in cooking the food. By all means I would help eat or taste test if needed! Fast forward 15 years, I met Emalee in Kentucky. We moved back to Ohio and in with mom & dad. Emalee likes cooking, she likes learning to make anything and everything. So one day when mom had chips & salsa order, she was out there making it and Emalee turned and looked at me and said “do you wanna go help?” Now, I warned Emalee about the chaos that happens during these times but I never fully expressed to her how I had absolutely no interest in helping, so I laughed dramatically with a big NO! She comes back like 3 hours later obsessed with it. 7 years go by and next thing we know is, moms opening up a restaurant out at the golf course. She secretly knew what she was doing (sure I’ll come help at the restaurant after I golf 🤷🏽‍♀️😅), not knowing my moms love and passion would slowly turn into something Emalee and I (Abbi) love doing. We want to continue with what mom started and take her dream and now ours and watch it grow. Like I said before the Legacy must continue.

I’m sure some of you have heard & some have not, and we do not take this lightly either… Unfortunately, Fairway Grill Restaurant & Catering will be closed indefinitely.

We want to thank everyone who supported us and came out. We want to thank all of our Fairway Grill team, who really had it handed to them at times. This wasn’t an easy decision. Many know that my mom (Diane) has went through some health issues, recently took a full time job and handed the restaurant over to Emalee and I, with her still being involved with catering. Things just didn’t work out in our favor here.

But we are not done, the Legacy must go on & we know how much you love the catering and chips & salsa. Emalee and I want to continue with what mom started with her being involved still. So continue to monitor this page for NEWS & of course chips & salsa.
