Another wonderful summer wedding! This wedding had lots of work that went into it as@it took place in the couples backyard! From walking the space many times starting a year in advance, to the couple completely relandscaping their yard in preparation for the party. We brought in every rental item, brought in a restroom, trailer, set up a fun bubble and piñata area for the kids in attendance, set up a boho lounge area for guests to hang out in, and much more! Happy 7th anniversary to my ride or die, baby daddy, favorite adventure partner for life!! I always ask my couples if they are doing engagement photos because I think it's so important to get comfortable in front of the camera and with your photog before your special day! If you can incorporate a special location even better! Brad and I are avid nature lovers and pre busy parent life you'd find us hiking multiple days per week. In fact our 2nd date was an epic hike that included rappelling down a mountain in Malibu. These photos were taken at Griffith Park and the Griffith Observatory which I had the absolute pleasure of living walkable to for 7 years. You'd find me hiking and running these trails a minimum of 2 days a week. I'm happy to share another fun 2023 wedding! This was a spring wedding at one of my favorite venues, McMenamins Kennedy School. The sales & catering staff are just great and I always know I'm in for a wonderful time there! A couple of fun facts, I did both planning & florals for this one! And this wedding was shot on film! Last fun fact, in lieu of a wedding cake this couple wanted a focaccia bread tower with an array of olive oils from brightland.
