Thanks to the for such a wonderful wedding tasting event on Sunday!! I had such a great time chatting with so many wonderful couples and vendors! Styling this table was a true pleasure and I absolutely love how it turned out! Blues and corals are really popular this year and I wanted to showcase that with the items I chose. Ronna at knocked it out of the park with her floral design and menu cards which complimented my table design perfectly. The rentals are from the incredible and Rebecca took these show stopper photos!

I am a giant fan of really well thought out design details to a wedding and this February 2022 wedding at had that 💯!! The theme was stars, moon and galaxy and it was truely stellar. 💫🌟From the bride’s custom shoes to the added sparkles in her dress to look like twinkling stars, to her manicure and the added star charms to her bouquet. The stars carved into their lantern centerpieces, the groom’s tie, their out-of-this-world cake and more! I’ll be dreaming about this one for a while. More pics from this celestial wedding soon! I can’t believe time has flown by so quickly but today is my 5 year wedding anniversary! Yay to us! I though I’d share some things with you about my wedding. I had an Art Deco, Gatsby wedding. It’s a long story but I wound up having to change venues the day before the wedding due to LA being in a state of emergency with the worst rain it had ever had, like ever! Talk about times a wedding planner comes in handy! Some other details, I went with the last wedding dress I tried on and the only strapless dress I tried. I was convinced I didn’t want a strapless dress but the tulled bottom was a perfect nod to the 20’s plus reminded me of snow which I loved for a winter wedding. Lesson, try on dresses outside of your comfort zone, you just never know! I wanted to incorporate ostrich and peacock feathers and after searching I found my dream wedding headpiece that had both, plus pearls, my birthstone! The woman who made my headpiece is now retired, so no tag! I wanted my “something blue” to be my shoes and I found the perfect vintage looking pair from “NewBrideCo” on Etsy. In a money saving effort + I just loved the idea I decorated the cocktail tables myself. I went to a few estate sales and found some vintage looking martini glasses, some with a blueish hue and some with a greenish hue. I placed long stands of pearls inside with peacock feathers and that worked out perfectly for the cocktail tables. I also found an adorable vintage looking “pie” topper on Etsy from “Jolie En Rose Vintage”. That adorable topper is safely packed away in case my kids ever get married and want it as their “something old”! I’m not a fan of a regular guest book for many reasons, and I’m so glad we went with a framed engagement picture for guests to sign. It’s hanging in our living room and I often find myself stopping in front of it to read the well wishes from friends and family. Vendors:

That’s me officiating! I am a planner first and foremost but I am always honored when my couples also want me to officiate their ceremony. I cannot always do it as I might be tending to things behind the scenes during ceremony, but depending on the details of the wedding I can sometimes do both! I’ve married about 15 of my couples and one very close friend since I got ordained 3 1/2 years ago. If I’m too busy behind the scenes during ceremony to officiate I have two great officiants that work with , one of which is my husband! He’s married several of my couples as well!
