I hadn't photographed at this river spot in ages and I'm glad we revisited it for Kya's session since they were my absolute FAVORITE. Even if it meant Photoshopping a dozen people out of the background - worth it.

I loved everything about your session Kya and thank you to being open to heading to a few locations I hadn't been to in awhile to get something fresh for your senior photos! Everything we photographed is amazing and you rocked every second of your shoot!! So happy to be sharing some of my favorites with everyone ☺️

It's almost the first day of school which is CRAZY to believe since it still feels like we're not to the end of summer yet!

I absolutely loved photographing Lily's senior photos and all of the different looks that we squeezed in. (Not pictured are 3-4 more looks we photographed!)

I love working with guys for their senior sessions and Luke was no exception to that! We got some awesome looks and had a tough time narrowing down my favorites to share with you all!

For Luke's session, he wanted to do a couple urban looks which will be going up in their home as a wall display and can't wait to see how they come together when those acrylic prints come in! (And we need another post just for the nature shots!)

Luke, absolutely the best time working with you guys and getting to be a part of your senior year!

When you've been doing senior photos for over 10 years, you have a lot of stories of things that happen during your photoshoots, but we had a first with Hazel. We got stuck on a film set.

Luckily we had lots of time to get all of her looks in during her portraits and even some photos of her and her doggo 🐶

Hazel, it was the best day with you guys and all of the photos look amazing and I am so excited to get all of your photo products in!

We covered a LOT of ground for Mallory's senior session and I'm super glad that we did since we got such an amazing variety of images and even concluded by squeezing the last little bit of light out of the sunset on the golf course.

It was so much fun (and worth the thousand bug bites)! I seriously wish I could share every single image from your session since they're all just as incredible as these! ⛳️

When I texted Mallory and told her I had a couple new spots and ideas I wanted to try out for her senior photos (including some golf photos), it was a LOT to fit all into one session but we made it happen and let me tell you... the photos turned out better than you can imagine 😎

When I photographed her sister's senior photos several years ago, Asia was counting down the days until she was a senior too. I loved her session so much since we got to try out a couple locations I hadn't photographed in awhile and was down for anything.

I tried to take Halle to this one location that was going to be perfect only for it to be closed.. But not to worry since we had some other just as incredible locations planned as a backup!

She was so sweet and easy going about it all and it helped since when everything came together there were no bad photos at all! Halle, you are amazing and I had the best time working with you and your family for your senior photos!! ☺️

Alyssa's session was everything you could have asked for and more! We had the most perfect weather, beautiful light and I loved the variety of outfits she brought for all her different locations.

Plus she brought her boyfriend who was super helpful so always a plus.

Hazyl had her Image Premiere today and so it was fitting to finally get to show you all her INCREDIBLE images from her senior session out in the Gorge.

While it was a little bit hot, we literally couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The lighting was incredible, her outfits were spectacular and sorry about all of the sideways images in this post but we had to make sure we didn't crop any of the beautiful landscape out.

The other day Kennedy came to pick up all of her products including her custom metal wall art collection and her album and I just had to show off a couple of the designs from those! 📸

One of the ways that I knew I wanted to serve my clients was by helping them every single step of the way. Rather than having you figure everything out by yourself (or having your images sit on your computers for years to come without ever being printed...), I make sure to walk you through all of the different products we offer and make sure we're choosing products that work best for your family. That also entails us sitting together and you getting to have full control over which portraits of your senior will be up on your wall for years to come or which of your favorite images you want big in an album. This way when your senior is off to college, you still get to see them even if they're not picking up your FaceTime calls 😉

So just because the photoshoot portion of your senior session is over, that doesn't mean that you still don't have me helping you until the very end.

And yes - of course we still offer the digital files too since I know how important those are to you!

I absolutely love how everything turned out about your session and can't wait to see photos of your wall art up in your home!! You all seriously couldn't have picked better choices for all of your products.

When Hazyl suggested going out to The Gorge for senior photos, I think excited was an understatement 🌅🌄

Macy's session was nothing short of perfect and I loved getting to photograph this purple flower field before it burns up from these temps 🙏 Can't wait to show you all the finished images!!!

While it was definitely a bit of a drive out to the Gorge for this photoshoot, I'd say it was 100% worth it and cannot wait to share the photos from this shoot!!!

Literally ALL of these best friends shoots have been my favorite thing ever! And getting to photograph in this incredible flower field was the cherry on top. And even with CRAZY wind we caught some incredible images 😅 I cannot wait to post and share all of my favorites from this shoot with you all!!!

Bella was one of the giveaway winners for a BFF Shoot back in January and I promised her we would get them some spring weather and it delivered!! Despite it literally HAILING that morning, we trusted the forecast and got the most beautiful, gorgeous sunny day before all of the blossoms completely disappeared off of the trees! I cannot wait to edit and show you all your images!

Realized I never shared the behind the scenes from the second of our group Senior Team Spring Shoots! So here it is and I absolutely can't wait to post more from this shoot since we explored so many cute little places around Portland on that day!! 🌷

When you get a little bit of sun, you've gotta do an impromptu blossoms shoot with the Senior Team! Even if everything looks dead in the fields and not a ton of leaves on the trees yet, spring is on its way!!! 🌸

My motto at SBP is STAND OUT - but what does that mean? To me, that means that every senior that we work with I'm creating images that allow you to Stand Out. This means that we're create images together that showcase your unique, authentic personality. It means that I'm not changing the way that you look and I keeping you looking like the best version of yourself in every one of your senior photos. And most importantly it means that you're being unapologetically YOU and not trying to fit a certain mold that maybe you feel like you need to fit into. In fact, I say that being an SBP Senior isn't for everyone I only want to work with people who embrace true beauty, who believe that there's more than just looking pretty in a photo and who care about not having images that look like everyone else's by going to the same exact locations and wearing the same thing as all of their friends. And I'm so thankful for the clients I do get to work with because they value being unique, different and Stand Out in their own ways. Want to know the secret to creating senior photos that you absolutely love? 🤐 It has NOTHING to do with locations, what you're wearing or even having the best camera. But it has EVERYTHING to do with keeping you relaxed during your session! For every senior that I work with, my job is to keep you relaxed and we do that in a few different ways. But the biggest thing is that this is YOUR day. That means listening to music that you love, having your best friend there so that it's not awkward for you and not rushing from location to location so that you feel rushed and overwhelmed. Every senior session is at least 2.5 hours and while that might seem like a long time, it goes by super quickly. I do this so that we have all the time in the world to have you change outfits, so that I can get to know you and bring out your personality perfectly and more.
