Blake Sakamoto (Dan Reed Network) was asked by Sunny Golden from the Hilton Vancouver, Washingotn to produce an event to ring in 2015 and Vancouver's New Year's Eve was born. After playing the Champagne Ball with Hit Machine, co-producing Portland's Grand Ball at the Marriott Downtown Waterfront and at the Nines which featured guests such as the Dan Reed Network, Valerie Day and John Smith (Nu Sho

oz), Bill Wadhams (Animotion), Tommy Heath (Tommy Tutone), Beat Frequency (The Voice) and Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Sakamoto felt it was time for Vancouver to have it's own event on New Year's Eve. Vancouver's New Year's Eve not only showcases this beautiful city but also an array of local, national and international artists to make this night Electric!
