A day full of fun, love, and a little bit of shenanigans mixed in. 🎉
Scott + Shawn may have had a February wedding, but the weather was actually relatively mild compared to well, like today! 😂
If you have followed me for a bit, you know I’m a big fan of overcast skies. The possibilities were endless on photo spots ! ☁️
These two are the perfect balance for each other and I know they have a wonderful life ahead. 💛
Shawn is one of those friends that when people asked me, “So how do you know them?” I had to pause to respond because she’s one of those friends who has always been there from Kindergarten and on. 📚
Kind of wild how things work out because fast forward to today and our husbands together. 🙉

I got the chance to hang out with Henry, Britney, Solomon, and the “one strong one” Dean! 💙
Their family has this stunning farm house and I’m always ready to pack my bags to move in when I stop by. I took their engagement photos, wedding photos, and even Henry’s one year photos. 🥹 talk about a wonderful feeling when people ask you to come back.
Dean was a mega big fan of his chocolate cake that his mom made. How creative was Britney with it?! I love seeing the themes moms come up with. I may have an eye for photos, but I’m not creative in that way. 😂

Chloe put together this family session for their Christmas present and how thoughtful is that?!
When was the last time your family had pictures taken? We try to get ours done annually. I have a picture of our little family hanging up and then Aaron’s family + my family. Eedie LOVES looking at them. She smiles every time.

despite the warm vibes from these photos, our teeth were chattering by the time we wrapped up at the football field when we did these back in October. 🥶😂
Carlie went along with all the ideas I had and I enjoyed talking with her, her momma, and dad. Shout out to her mom who carried around a large object to scare off their rooster who apparently is not the friendliest. 🐓😂🙉

If you looked up the definition of sweet, I’m pretty sure Noah’s picture pops up. 🥹
This family is one that’s close to my heart. Han shared some pix awhile back that went waaaayyy back to when we snapped some pix just for fun literally off a side road to take some pictures of her and J. 🥲🩵
Somehow we blinked and now we are here and she’s rocking the boy mom life with Jordan by her side. ⏩
Couldn’t narrow down to a few so you get lots. I think the first is one of my favorites though with Noah’s belly peeking out! 👶🏼
And Ozzy was the chillest baby. We took these on a 55 degree day in December. 🌤️

He has the biggest blue eyes that melt your heart and a smile to match it. 🩵
He turned one back in December and Whitney + Micah welcomed me into their farmhouse for Stetson’s one year pix. 📷

oy several updates over here to share & how has it been over two weeks since I last posted? 🤨 whoops
and lots of shoots to come that I haven’t shared! First up, some snippets from the Woodrow fam’s session this fall at .farm 🌾
I’m revamping my website so it’s currently nonexistent. If you’re looking to get a shoot on the books shoot me a message or text. ✉️
2026 (the downfall to photography, ya always gotta look ahead) inquiries: I’m just not quite ready yet to put things down so stay tuned for an official date of when I launch that! 📆
Working on the backend things is always much needed, but seems like I’m not working via media. I hope you all are getting a much refreshed mind starting out this year. ✨
We started booking campgrounds yesterday and Frankie is pretty stoked about it. 🤣⛺️

My mental check list when I do family photos goes as follows: ☑️
📷 whole fam (several times)
📷 siblings together
📷 kiddos individual shots
📷 mom with the kids
📷 dad with the kids
📷 mom + dad together
These are the shots I always get
{babies/toddlers…children in general willing} 😂
I’ll always ask families though if there’s any others that they want! I’ve had mommas want photos with each kids alone, if there’s multiple kids sometime I do the girls together and the boys together sibling wise. It just varies and that’s ok! 👌
Never be afraid to ask for a request. We, photographers, want you to love your photos and not go home and say, “Man, I wish I would’ve ask for xyz.” ❤️

“so I got permission to shoot in this field, are you guys down?” 🎉🌅🌾🥹🔥 . . okay all sessions now must end this way jk sometimes the sunset doesn’t want to pop out, but dang it when it does 😩😍 . . I’m very thankful to live in a small community where everyone tends to know everyone because you can text a couple people and find out who owns what rather quickly. There’s definitely pros and cons to small town living! You may not always get a “yes, you can shoot there,” but it’s worth a shot. (oooo I made a pun) 😅
