Recently our FCE asked if we could do a presentation to the Fourth grade class of flower parts etc. Our newest floral designer, Amy Castle, enjoyed tremendously talking to the classes. Today, to much of our surprise, she receive thank you notes from the class.

The construction crews are moving right along setting the new curbs and they will be back in front of the store on the North side of the street this afternoon , so we will be closing at Noon today . We will be back open regular hours tomorrow .

Good Morning ( Tuesday June 4, 2024 )

Due to the current location of the construction crews pouring fresh concrete today in front of our store , the shop will be closed for walk -in business TODAY 6/4/2024
If there is anything we can do to send an order out for you we are still taking orders over the phone or on line and getting them delivered.
( We can take payments over the phone and online by credit card ).
We will be here on a limited schedule today til all the orders called in that we have are made and delivered.

GOOD MORNING VEEDERBURG AND FACEBOOK FRIENDS!
Due to the most need construction, we will be closing at 11:30am today. The construction crew will begin in front of our shop so we can always remain open on Monday.

In addition, We will be closed May 25th thru Monday May 27th. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, once the construction is complete, we will have great drainage and a great road. Let's pray that the crew can complete by their deadline which is the end of June. That is if Mother Nature corporates! lol

Good Afternoon ,
Mothers Day has now passed and we would like to Thank all our customers that took the the time to deal with the construction and safely made their way to the store for their Mothers Day purchases.
We have started to refill our greenhouse with more planters, hanging baskets, Geraniums, Vegetable flats, flower flats and more.
The construction crew is finishing up putting the Main Line sewer in on the North side of the road and in the week or so will start cutting in the sewer drains on the South side of the road. This will cause closures of the 2nd Street access to the store as they will be cutting lines in across both east-west lanes. The access from the north-south alley off 3rd street ( between Vine St, & College St.) will always be open to get to the store.

Good Morning ,
Mothers Day is this Sunday May 12th !!
The construction is in full swing here on 2nd Street,
but the construction crew is allowing any traffic needing to get to our flower shop through. They are allowing drivers to go around the barricades and there will be a worker there to direct you through when the lane is clear to pass the trucks and tractors safely.
Please GO SLOW and BE SAFE all the workers are working with us to enable our customers to access the store during this busy time for us.
We have allot of pre-made arrangements for pick up and have plenty of other flowers to make whatever Mom may like on her big day.

Good Morning ,
Now getting ready to enter the 3rd week of the construction , the road closure has reached the WEST side of our store. You can still get to the store from the EAST side without any issues by just going around the barricades. There will be access to our store at ALL times according to the boss of the construction crew, either off of COLLEGE STREET or the alley WEST of COLLEGE off of 3rd Street.
We have lots of beautiful plants , Vegetables , Roses , Ferns , Hanging Baskets and a whole lot more in our Garden Center.

Thank You for working with us during this construction time it will make for a better entry into our store in the future.
( The Lake normally in front of our store after every rain will no longer be there)

Lots of new things today in the Garden.
We got in 12 new wicker cone baskets with
geraniums' , coleus' , and lots of petunias.
Spikes are in for all you flower pot builders and
we also got our Miracle Grow soil in stock.
FYI- The construction team is allowing people to
come around the barricades to get to our store.
Store Hours M-F 9 to 5pm and Sat. 8am to Noon
