HURRICANE MILTON UPDATE

To all of couples past and upcoming, we are all safe and made it through Hurricane Milton.
It definitely has been a stressful & challenging past few days but we are ready to get back out on the beach and do what we do best.
The Sarasota County work crews have been working diligently to clear the roads of sand and trees on our barrier islands.
Please do not let what see on TV or the internet worry you about an upcoming wedding.
We were out on the some of our beach locations yesterday and they look perfect for a wedding. There were actually some people out just walking and enjoying the beach. The water was beautiful and calm, actually kind of crazy to think what just blew through here.
Many places were open for business today, actually many yesterday already and people sitting outside of restaurants enjoying their meals.
If your accommodations or reception weren’t right on the beach, then you shouldn’t have an issue with that.
Our wedding for this evening that got postponed was having their reception at “The Point” which is right on the bay, we visited with the manager yesterday and he said that they will open for business today, the only part of their venue would not be open is their Tiki bar which took a hit and that’s on the bay.
So as soon as we get permission from Sarasota county that the roads and accesses are clear and safe, we will be ready to go.
We Floridians are resilient to these hurricanes and get back to business right away.
We were able to get our power back yesterday, which was very fast, thanks to the incredible work of our lineman.
Our internet came back today as well.
There are still many homes without power but this community is very giving and everyone is helping with whoever needs it.
