After a lot of thought (and late nights with coffee in hand), I’ve come to a bittersweet decision: it’s time for me to pass on Kalorama Coffee. This little coffee cart started as a dream to create Ventura County’s first health-permitted coffee cart. I remember walking through the Ventura Farmers Market and thinking, “I want to bring something here that’s more than just coffee.”

Kalorama became that and so much more. From weddings and birthdays to spontaneous chats and friendly smiles at the cart, I’ve had the privilege of sharing in people’s lives, one cup at a time. This cart has been there for so many moments—big and small. There were days when it was just me, the cart, and a long line of people waiting, and somehow, those were some of my favorite memories.

But all things change, and after a lot of reflection, I feel it’s time to let Kalorama grow in new hands. I’m passing it on to Carlos from , someone who cares about his craft and community as much as I do. His dedication to quality single-origin beans and the art of roasting really aligns with what I’ve always wanted Kalorama to be. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I feel good knowing it’s in solid hands.

I’m not fully stepping away—I’ll still be involved on the creative side, occasionally working on events and keeping the Kalorama spirit alive. To everyone who’s come by for a cup, a conversation, or just to support, thank you. Ventura has been the perfect home for this journey, and I couldn’t have asked for a better community to share it with. This isn’t goodbye, just a new chapter.

Here’s to the good conversations, friendships, and everything a cup of coffee can bring. Cheers to what’s next 🤍

Let’s go 2024! Last year we catered 135+ markets, 22 weddings, 18 birthdays, 15 showers, 19 business functions, 9 school events, 5 festivals, and plenty of other random events. It was an incredibly busy year and felt like such a blessing to start a new business and have so many bookings in one year. We’re so grateful. It was a tremendous year for Kalorama and continues to be even into this new year. We’re booked throughout the year and continue to get bookings everyday. Thank you for believing in us.

The dream was to be a specialty coffee cart that provides positive vibes, high quality espresso drinks, and find a place to build a foundation in the community where people feel they can trust the brand and consistency of our delightful drinks. We feel we’ve hit our mark consistently.

We’ve got big plans for this year. It’s exciting. Thanks for being along for the ride. We owe it all to you! Happy New Year! 2024 is going to be a great one!✨🤙🤍🎉

I’ve made it a habit to pick up several disposable cameras throughout this year to take photos and celebrate this fun and exciting business. I’ll post more as the year goes on but wanted to start with this. This was towards the beginning of the year and it feels so good to know that we’re still thriving and growing everyday.

Thanks to all those who stop by every weekend at the markets and those who book us throughout the year. We’re so grateful for you and wouldn’t be able to do it without you.
