THIS WEEKEND --> The Ventura County Fairgrounds will be motorsport entertainment’s epicenter with the nation’s most competitive monster trucks as they invade the Ventura Raceway this weekend - Dec. 7 & 8!

See incredible 10,000-pound, car crushing giants compete in racing, wheelie contests, and then rock the house with amazing freestyle action during the Monster Truck Nitro Tour! Plus, you can see the trucks up close at the pre-event Pit Party!

FRIDAY & SATURDAY: The Great Junk Hunt returns to the Ventura County Fairgrounds!

Just in time for holiday shopping! 🎁 The Great Junk Hunt offers a unique opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind pieces that add character and flair to any space.

It’s a round up of curated vendors selling their best goods, plus no party is complete without cocktails, live music, and aisles of junkin’ treasure. Shoppers can walk away with items they can’t find anywhere else. Discover farmhouse, industrial, vintage, re-purposed, handmade and much more!

NOW ACCEPTING JUNIOR FAIR BOARD APPLICATIONS 📋

The Ventura County Fairgrounds is now accepting Junior Fair Board applications! The Junior Fair Board is a volunteer-based youth program. Members are expected to attend monthly meetings, engage in community outreach, volunteer at various fairgrounds events, and hold activities for guests during the Ventura County Fair.

▪️ Open to current high school students

▪️ No Fair experience required

▪️ Earn volunteer hours!

Deadline to apply is December 9th!

Update

Our hearts go out to our community members.

We want to extend our gratitude to the first responders who continue to fight the Mountain Fire and support citizens affected by the devastation. The Fairgrounds has an up-close look at the efforts being made and has partnerships with the Ventura County Fire Department, Cal Fire, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, Ventura County Animal Services, CHP, and many more agencies - all of whom are working on behalf of our community.

On Wednesday, the Ventura County Fairgrounds was transformed from the event venue you know, to an evacuation resource for large animals, a staging area for fire personnel, and a command center for the Sheriff's Department - in a matter of hours. The Fairgrounds has become a small city of big heroes. As of this morning, there are 497 engines from cities far and wide and 2,999 personnel coming and going to and from the Fairgrounds. There are 150+ horses, goats, alpacas, and other large animals in our barns.

Thank you to those who have offered to drop-off donations for the personnel. Please consider donating to those affected by the fire. Evacuation centers, Food Share Ventura County, the Red Cross, Ventura County Animal Services, and other organizations are supporting the community in incredible ways.

THIS WEEKEND: Adventure Van Expo

Join us Saturday & Sunday for a family-friendly weekend open to all ages, celebrating the van life community! It's a great opportunity to view over 50 van vendors.

In addition to all of the great van builds, the event will feature live music, food, and local brews all weekend long. And those looking to show off their custom builds are encouraged to sign up for the DIY Contest where they will have their rigs viewed by hundreds of event goers and rated by van build experts.
