I’m always in support of shopping small whenever and wherever possible. As a small business owner I can tell you that it’s truly a game changer. We love being a place for our customers to discover new things, be inspired, and to find gifts to celebrate monumental occasions. For us, every interaction is personal. We grow these here on our farm. It’s hard to describe the difference between fresh and imported tulips. You just have to try them.

We harmed A LOT of chocolate in the making of this post. Not sorry.

We don’t need to tell you that the only chocolate that your sweetheart wants is …you already know this! This is just your reminder that chocolate and flowers are the perfect match, just like you and your special someone. Snuggling up with a seed catalog and planning our next growing season.

We’re relying more and more on hard working perennials and simplifying our annual crops. It makes more sense for us from a labor perspective to grow selectively and support other local growers to fill in the gaps. It’s taken us a few years to figure out what works for us but I think we’re finally finding our groove!

What’s your favorite Valentine’s Day gift? Mine was from a kindergartner admirer. As he was delivering his valentines to all of our decorated shoe boxes there was one toward the bottom that had an extra addition. It was a large heart shaped container full of red hot candies. I had no idea before that day that he had a crush on me but my little kindergarten heart has never forgotten how special that felt!
