Really pleased with the Spring planting this year! Last year at this time I was working furiously to get the new space open and wasn’t able to give as much attention to the farm. I’m so excited about this growing season. Lucky to have such an amazing team on the farm and in the shop.

Tomorrow I’ll be back in the shop and I’m looking forward to showing you all of the exciting new inventory that came in this week!

BE PUBLISHED IN A BOOK ✔️

We are approaching the 6 year anniversary (April 15th) of our move to Vermont! It’s crazy to think that it’s been that long. It’s been quite a journey to say the least. If I could distill our journey down, I would say that it’s mostly been about saying yes to things that scare us. When Debra Prinzing from reached out to me to record an episode of her podcast, I was both honored and terrified. Hello imposter syndrome! With the encouragement of Derek, I agreed. That conversation led us to be invited by Debra and Robin to be a part of their beautiful book, The Flower Farmers!

Megan made this amazing ikebana arrangement today.

We have a workshop in May, that we’ll be adding to the website soon! You’ll leave with new knowledge, your own arrangement, this gorgeous handmade vessel, and a pin frog.

I love ikebana because it’s a relaxing, meditative process that doesn’t require a lot of material, or long stems. Lovely clippings from around the yard will be perfect candidates.

I’m always in support of shopping small whenever and wherever possible. As a small business owner I can tell you that it’s truly a game changer. We did it! We survived another Valentine’s Day.

We grow these here on our farm. It’s hard to describe the difference between fresh and imported tulips. You just have to try them.
