🎃💙 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who set up trunks and made our sensory-friendly Trunk or Treat so special for our Sunshine League and all the incredible special needs kids in our community! Your creativity, kindness, and commitment made it a fun, safe, and memorable event for everyone.

Seeing the joy on their faces and the pure excitement for each trunk made every effort worthwhile. We’re so grateful for a community that comes together to make these moments truly magical! ☀️

🌞⚾ Blown away with gratitude as we celebrate an amazing end to our Sunshine League T-Ball season! Watching these incredible kids shine on the field has been a true joy. From every swing to each cheerful run, they brought their all, and we’re so proud of their growth and teamwork.

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, Sandra and Lyndsey, Vernon College, our buddies, and the amazing families who supported our players each step of the way. You make this league possible and bring so much joy to our community.

The Sunshine League will provide an opportunity for boy and girl players, aged 5-21, with disabilities to play t-ball. All registered players will receive a game jersey, merch and will play for FREE. Every player will be partnered with a buddy to help assist them during the game.

Last week, the Vernon High School class of 2026 hosted a fundraiser and unified basketball game. They graciously donated a portion of the proceeds to the Sunshine League and presented a check to members at tonight’s game. 💙
