Sunday Introductions - Meet Jessica! 🌲

Jessica began coordinating weddings at Vernonia Springs as one of our preferred planners in 2019 and officially joined the full-time team as Sales and Venue Manager this past fall! She grew up in Vernonia and is still a part of the community through the local ballet studio, in addition to Vernonia Springs. Over the past 10 years, she has been working in the wedding and event industry which allows her to provide helpful and well-rounded insight to all of our clients. A great bonus!

We love the variety of color here at Vernonia Springs and the fact we get all 4 seasons! Beautiful reds and oranges for Fall, snow in Winter (which will likely be coming soon), various shades of greens in Spring, and beautiful floral for Summer.

Our overnight accommodations include 5 yurts (pictured here), 5 wall tents, and a honeymoon cabin. All units include linens, comforters, pillows and towels -- all the comforts of home!

When we were re-designing our logo, we wanted to incorporate a nature element that could be found at Vernonia Springs. A fern seemed like the perfect choice, as you can find them pretty much every direction you look when on the property! Our log pavilion is even lined with them (pictured here), making a great backdrop for your sweetheart table. 🌲💚

While posed photos are always nice to have, we love the more natural and candid ones too 😍 When choosing a photographer, make sure that their style aligns with your vision— do they edit more moody, film style, or true to color? Do they incorporate a lot of candid and documentary style images, or do they mostly showcase posed or styled shots? There is the perfect vendor out there for everyone!

Our log pavilion is great for your dinner and dancing! It provides cover from both rain and sun (you never know what the PNW weather will bring!), is strung with warm colored lights, and includes a few ceiling fans to keep the air circulating on warmer days. Plus, there are a few handmade bird houses on the side to add a bit of character— can you spot them? 🦉
