Wow! This was an uplifting concert to say the least! Ryan Dillahay is a spectacular guitarist! The performance was clearly an example of talent, determination, and hard work. Even some TCJazz “die hards” found it inspiring. Some wonderful improvisation to classic jazz compositions.
Mickey Freeman is lively, lovely and delightful. And of course, Gary and Claudio added to the fine performance with excellence on bass and drums. Well done!

A lovely thank you from our guest performers March 9 Lisa Kelly and JB Scott: “On behave of our group, the Kelly/Scott Jazz Sextet, many thanks to the Treasure Coast Jazz Society and to our co-sponsor, Mr. Charles Garris with Wingfield Charitable Trust, for the opportunity to perform for the jazz society concert luncheon on Saturday
March 9th, and to present an educational outreach jazz clinic on Friday March 8th, for the over 200 attending students at the Indian River Charter High School. Our group presented six highly regarded artist/educators who've performed world-wide, each for over 30 years, who have served or are currently on faculty with the University of North Florida, University of Florida, or Harrison High School of the Arts - so important in useful information of formal study, vast pro performance experience, and knowledge of college programs (especially in Florida) we're able to share.

Over the years, we've always enjoyed performing for the TCJS, our last visit in Spring 2018, and always so well received in sold-out dates of appreciative audiences. Yesterday's turnout was outstanding, the venue beautiful, the lunch buffet scrumptious, all while being entertained by a high quality jazz concert. What a fantastic experience for your patrons and guests!…..
In closing, a most sincere "thank you" Ray Adams to you, Lee Burlingame, and President Sharon Bastide, for the gracious hospitality in making us feel so welcomed, for all you did in coordinating details with me over the months to make these two days so successful and rewarding, and to Mr. Charles Garris with Wingfield Charitable Trust for the very important sponsorship of your jazz society's Mission Statement. We deeply appreciate being a part of such good works, and hope to be back again in the near future.

Thank you to all involved with the Treasure Coast Jazz Society, in all you do to preserve, present, and perpetuate the true jazz tradition!
