James Broxton and the Essence of Sound Band presents A Musical Tour of Soul Music 70's to 90's & Soulfood Feast. Join us on a musical journey of soulful ballads and upbeat hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The vocal expertise of Mrs. Jamalia Scott who is an amazingly smooth vocalist. This will be an amazing evening of soul filled music and delicious soul food.
Chef Milton Banner will be preparing the foundation of the meal which will consist of Chicken picata, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, garden salad and a dinner roll. Next we will add to the menu barbecued ribs prepared by Big Back BBQ LLC, and the final bit of soul food will be pineapple baked ham, candied yams, and macaroni amd cheese. Merry Christmas to all of you, and hoping your families are safe and happy during this holiday season. I would like to apologize in advance to those who were looking forward to James Broxton and the Essence of Sound doing our annual Christmas Concert. We will be doing a different thing this year as we spread holiday cheer to several assisted living facilities and a few private people who can not come out in public. We are hoping to do a public event in February or March of 2024. Thank you in advance for your continued support amd understanding of this decision. We will be performing for 5 facilities next weekend in Indian River County. Looking forward to seeing some of you in the very near future. Happy New Year to you and your families from ours to yours

Today I am grateful for another year of life as I celebrate my 57th birthday. Thankful for my family and friends who mean so much to me as well as all of the lives that impact mine. I have learned that in all things, God has been faithful and every day He provides another opportunity to be a better person. Each day allows new mercy and yesterday is gone forever. Facebook family and friends, please help me congratulate my little brother (William Kevin Broxton) his wife and entire family for taking social media by storm. Those of you who know our family, may remember my youngest brother who was fondly called Kevin by most. He and his wife Samantha have together created a mini Kevin called ,Nathan Broxton. He had the privilege to have one of his social media videos reach true viral status and has been the talk of Broadway for a few weeks now. Today the entire family was on the Today show.
