Dinners will be $10 each or $9.50 on orders of 10 or more.

Dinners will be catered by Romers and include half a chicken, chips, applesauce and dinner roll.

The St. Denis Knights of Columbus will be having its annual mission breakfast on March 3 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Proceeds from this breakfast will go to St. Peters Neurological Center and Persecuted Christians. Free will offerings will be accepted.
The menu will include whole hog sausage, ham, grits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, French toasts, pancakes, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice.

The 2024 super Cash Bonanza campaign is once again underway. The campaign supports many local and statewide campaigns supported by the council. Up to 80% of ticket sales remain local and In 2023 St Denis Knights of Columbus were able to donate over $5000 to the various local CCD programs.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting any KofC member or by using the link below.

Tickets are $5 with the potential to win $414/month for 10 years along with numerous other cash prizes.

Save the date: Our annual Lenten speaker with feature national speaker Justin Fatica on Saturday March 23rd. Tickets will go on sale February 1st for $10.

Justin has been featured on EWTN, HBO and has many videos and podcasts. He often speaks in schools and encouraged high school age and older to attend. We are very excited that he has agreed to bring his fire and passion to our event.

Today, the Gospel story follows immediately upon yesterday’s encounter in the Temple with Simeon. The Holy Family meets another prophet, the prophetess Anna.

Anna is now an old woman, long a widow, having only lived seven years with her husband. What possible role or mission could she have in the history of salvation? Turns out, Anna had a mission worthy of mention for all time in the Gospel.

Her love of her husband is replaced with a love for the Lord, and she spends decades living, praying and preaching in the Temple of Jerusalem.

She is the first preacher about Jesus’ messianic mission, as she “spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.” Even before John the Baptist, she begins to share the good news to those who had real faith that God would keep his promise of redemption by sending the Anointed One, the Messiah.

By virtue of our baptism, Brother Knights, our souls are stamped with a mark that gives us a mission to share this same Good News with others. This mission does not stop until we breathe our last breath. To our older brother Knights, you have a mission! Finish the race, as St. Paul urges us in his old age. Your younger brothers and sisters are counting on you. What a gift we have in each of you, and you have the gift of this mission. Merry Christmas!
