Happy 2nd Anniversary to Gilbert and Ivy, LLC Bookstore! 📚 Loved visiting yesterday & getting some new books!
If you haven’t been in their shop at the corner of Main & Prairie Streets yet, it’s worth checking it out!
They support and give discounts to teachers and host monthly bookclubs.
There is something for everyone and super helpful staff if you aren’t sure what you want to read. They also have wonderful events and author talks.

The Mill at Vicksburg hosted another great band visiting last week - The Resurrection Blues Band.

The first photo of one of the tornadoes from yesterday is from Lori Higgins. She took this from her front yard in Mendon on Prairie Corners Road and M-66 looking south.
The rest are photos I took yesterday as the storm passed through and I dashed home from the Village.

Enrique Delzer rode his bike to Vicksburg from Kalamazoo. He’s a Kalamazoo College student filmmaker and is trying to ride every trail he can find in Kalamazoo County.
Yesterday, he toured around looking for The Mill at Vicksburg and hoping to get inspired for a future film project. Thanks for making the trip to Vicksburg, Enrique! 📸

Aliya and Anja were going to prom tonight for their school Heritage Academy. They were such a bright pop of color near Main Street that I had to take their picture when I saw them!
Their parents were with them and I asked if they lived in Vicksburg. “No, we don’t live here but we came to take Prom photos here. We just think Vicksburg is a beautiful town and it’s a perfect stop before prom!”
Agreed! It is a pretty beautiful place! ❤️

Dacia and Kaitlyn were walking their dog Nala in the Village today. They were here visiting their grandparents who live in Vicksburg and they decided to dress in matching outfits and walk to Oopsy Daisy to by themselves some flowers and take pictures under the blooming trees. Luckily, I walked by at the same time and volunteered to snap photos since they were about as cute as the morning sun. ☀️ Have a great visit!

But I’m not complaining because there are so many delicious options for Cups of Joe! ☕️ Happy to stop by Something’s Brewing for their opening week— and appreciated the coffee and treats!
