**Mild language warning!**

Running a small business is hard.

But parenting a small child is harder.🤦‍♂️

We want to apologize to any of our customers who may have received any “inspirational notes” recently that might have seemed a little out of context or inappropriate. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It appears that our youngest employee, and Vice President of Morale & Motivation, has taken upon herself to continue to share her “words of wisdom” through our inspirational quotes.

And although what she has stated here is very true. We still are learning how to use proper age appropriate quotes for all of our orders…

So forgive us if this was something found in your order lately. Apparently a 7 year old with an iPad and Google search is a dangerous tool. 😂

For the last 6 years at Fit Chef, we have always left a personalized sticky note inside of all the orders that we process.

Now that my daughter is old enough to read and write (and text nonstop🙄) she has taken it upon herself to be the one to write the “love notes” for each customer’s orders.

Unbeknownst to me, today as we were fulfilling said orders, this was the note that came across an order.

Even though I debated removing it, I decided to leave it as is and hope that it brings this particular customer just as much joy and laughter as it brought me.

So if you were the lucky recipient of this note, we hope it makes your day. If not, then please let us know and we will make things right. 😂🤦‍♂️

💚Whew!!! What a wild couple of weeks!💚

The last few weeks have been some of the hardest weeks since we opened in 2018! Here’s a little timeline of what life has been like for us!

1. We moved the kitchen. 😃

2. Was told by inspectors that we couldn’t be in there. 😡

3. We moved the kitchen BACK to Vicksburg to stay in business!🙄

4. For two weeks, we fixed all building and equipment issues. While cooking with half of a kitchen in Vicksburg! 😔

5. We moved the kitchen BACK to Gluckstadt again!😁😜

6. Then had to wait 2 days for health inspection!🤦‍♂️

7. Took a company wide mental health 3 day weekend!🥰

8. Now, we are WIDE OPEN!! 😍😍😍

Yall get ready!

We are making a “House a home” and growing a team of amazing people to bring the ABSOLUTELY BEST to all of our customers and supporters!

We are grateful for those who have been patient during this transition. And we deeply apologize to those who were inconvenienced by this transition!

The best is yet to come and we are working hard to get our store inventory completely stocked and maintained! 💪🏼

FINALLY!!!

After nearly 2.5 years in the making!

The Fit Chef headquarters in Gluckstadt has OFFICIALLY PASSED ALL INSPECTIONS and is ready to begin production!!!🙌🏼

The list of people we personally want to thank for making all of this come true is way too long. We are beyond grateful for each and every last person who has been a part of this from the beginning to the end.

We are MOST grateful for the Fit Chef kitchen crew, the store associates, managers, food distributors and whoever else that believed in us and stood by our side in battle as we led way to this next chapter of our lives.

(We gave all of the kitchen employees the day off, which is why they aren’t in this picture!🤦‍♂️)

With this new facility, we will soon begin to offer so much more value as a company and many new services that will leave a lasting impact on the community for years to come.

Not only will Fit Chef grow by offering MORE MENU ITEMS! We will now be able to keep a constant inventory in all store locations, allowing for more choices and a better service for our customers!

Now for the fun part! Here is what we have been working on behind the scenes!

💚 Fit Chef Jr. is already making plans for our FIRST kid’s cooking class. Along with two local school field trips this winter. We will even offer birthday party packages a special birthday celebration!

💚 The Fit Chef Foundation is on its way!
This will be a nonprofit that sponsors children who want to learn and develop culinary skills as well as educate children about healthier eating habits!

And last but not least!

🧡 Gather and Grub Is in development and planning to open before the holidays later this year!

This will be our sister business that provides “Home cooked, southern inspired meals for couples and families. Delivered right to your door step!”
