It's so much more than just playing music that makes events and weddings Fantastic! I always suggest a group photo, which they end up treasuring forever. At this 95th birthday, I helped them do a Timeline which made everything run smoothly. I announced and played the #1 hits from the month she was born, from her 10th birthday, high school graduation etc. Who knew a 95th birthday could be so much fun! Photo dump from this year's Valley Hi Toyota employee Halloween Costume Contest. I've been doing this event since 2012. I play a "walk-up" song for each character i.e. for the lady dressed as a chicken I played the "Chicken Dance" as she came up. Fun mid-week event every year!

Eric and Sue celebrated 50 years of marriage at Bear Valley Country Club this past weekend. I was honored to be their DJ and play "their song" which was the first song they danced to in high school.

UNPLUGGED. It's a weird emotional ping-pong match when you have no cell service, no internet an no Wi-Fi, because part of you says, 'This is nice. Nobody can bug me" while a huge part of you that is so used to being connected is anxious. There were some texts just before the wedding and I couldn't help but wonder what those people were thinking after I didn't respond to them. 'Beautiful place in Sky Forest, near Lake Arrowhead, CA.

Why do I always take a picture of the photographer working? Because even with 2000 photos, it's the one picture that the couple won't ever get in the collection - a picture of their own photographer.
If it was your wedding, would you want pictures of the vendors? If it was my wedding, I would want a picture of my bartender, possibly the cake baker, and definitely the DJ who was there the entire time and a huge part of the event. What about you?
