Selecting your wedding music can be challenging, especially when it comes to choosing the perfect first dance song! 

Start by opting for a song that holds significance for both of you as a couple. Is it a song that was always on the speakers at the college bar where you met? Is it the song that came on when you got engaged? Don’t worry about what the song “should” be - pick something that is meaningful to you! The first dance is such a special moment and this song will be forever yours.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Today, I wish all my fellow event colleagues a Happy International Women's Day! This is a day for us to celebrate the incredible strength, creativity, and resilience of women everywhere.

As a wedding planner, I am constantly amazed by the amazing women I work with, from brides to vendors to fellow planners. Together, we create unforgettable events that bring joy and happiness to so many people.

Today, I am reminded of the importance of supporting and empowering each other. In the event industry, we have the opportunity to create a community that lifts each other and helps us all succeed. I am grateful for the women who have paved the way for me and those who continue to inspire me daily.

Disclaimer: I was able to be just a guest at this wedding (!), but I had to share some details of my cousin’s wedding at the gorgeous Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid, New York.

It was perfect for a December wedding Adirondacks, complete with a two-story high Christmas tree as a ceremony backdrop. It was cozy, it was fun, and I have a new cousin-in-law. Congratulations, !
