It is an annual event (typically the first-weekend in August) and features a carnival and fun for kids of all ages, including vendors, local merchant give-a-ways and sidewalk sales, a parade and display of modern and vintage farm and garden tractors, tractor pulling, 5K race, demo derby, live music, BBQ cookoff and more.

What a weekend!! Thank you so much to all who attended this year’s Villa Grove Ag Days Celebration. We appreciate everyone who came, our student and local groups who served food or put on an event, and all the vendors who joined us for the weekend.

Special thanks to the Villa Grove High School football team and the Boy Scouts for helping set up and tear down, what a great community we have!

We are so happy with how this year went especially with the small group we had to plan and run this years event. Tell us in the comments, what was your favorite thing from the 2024 Ag Days? Feel free to share pictures!

Our Miss Villa Grove Queens will be walking around the festival today selling 50/50 tickets. They are $1 each or 6 for $5. Drawing will be at 4pm at the VGSB Main Stage at the south end of Main Street. Winner need not be present to win.

*This is a fundraiser for the Ag Days Celebration and the Miss Villa Grove Scholarship Fund.

Please print and bring to the parade line-up at 10am on Saturday to speed up the registration process. We will have forms there if you are unable to print.

The parade route will be the same as previous years. The parade will go down RT130 then turn onto Main Street from Railroad to head back to the school.

Please return this form to Bruce Allen, 513 N Richman, Villa Grove, IL Parade starts at 11 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 behind the Villa Grove High School and proceeds down Route 130/Sycamore, turns on Railroad St. and travels north up Main St. Parade entries will be announced as they pass the...
