I love nontraditional weddings so much 😭 unique venues, smaller guest lists, outfit changes, pizza bars for cocktail hour… I really think weddings are going more in this direction and I’m here for it. Going through Jackie and Nick’s gallery makes me want to go back and do their day again!!

The coziest November wedding on a rainy day! Give me all the string light vibes 🤩 // one of my favorite things about working on your gallery after your wedding day is coming across all the sweet moments I sometimes don’t get to appreciate while shooting. Like a grandpa holding his granddaughter’s fingers mid ceremony or a brother laughing during speeches. You see it, you take the photo and then it’s so special to find later on. I hope that’s how you all feel when you get your photos!!

Ended my 2024 wedding season the best possible way with Jackie and Nick!! 🤩 they had a nontraditional wedding day in Chicago where we hopped to a few locations to commemorate their time here before they leave the city. It was the perfect way to celebrate their wedding as well as their time in Chicago coming to a close 🩷

Elizabeth + Chris are officially married!! Lex, Shannon and I left saying “what a fantastic day” 🥰 It was clear they adored each other. And one of the things I loved hearing from friends and family was how the other really complimented and completed their family. It’s so sweet to see how much a couple’s family loves the person marrying into their family 🩷

Kate and Linnea are the embodiment of pure joy. I mean, scroll through these photos 🤩 their happiness was contagious!! They were genuinely just so happy to be together and getting married. Can we also take a moment to appreciate how colorful their wedding day was too?! Those florals. I love them.

Photographed Tina and AJ’s wedding 5 years ago and just did their extended family session 🤩 love when I get to reconnect with my awesome couples!! Their reception is still one of my favorites, such high energy. AJ and some groomsmen came out to the dance floor in fox masks while WhatDoes The Fox Say played and it is still something Lex and I talk about to this day.

It seems to me families with younger kids reach out more often for photos than with older and that could be for so many reasons. But when I get a family with teens, it makes me so happy when the kids are there and actively participating in the photos for their parents 🥹 and not making me feel like a total goof with all my ideas 😂 Eddie and Nicholas, thanks for making your mom’s day! // also I’m pretty sure it’s a rule that no matter what age you are, if you see a pile of leaves in the woods you must play in it.

Kate and Linnea are married!! 🤩 documenting their relationship has been one of my very favorite things. The way they both looked at each other… swoon!! It was so clear they are the other’s best friend. I feel so lucky I got to be a part of such an incredible wedding 🩷 also, those colors!! Between the sunset, the red tree and their outfits, I’m obsessed.

I had the best time running around Cantigny with Samantha and Tony!!! Always so fun to get to know the people you have been emailing 🩷 their love story started over tacos and now they have 2 cute fur babies and a home together!

Last set of sneak peaks for the moment and it’s the Ireland family!! We had to recreate some of the photos we’ve taken at their past sessions and of course get some fun new photos. I remember the only photo we could get it Brooks without Laura was when he was upside down and now both him and Thomas were ready to go starting off the session with brother hugs 🥹
