Oakbrook Terrace Arthur Murray Dance Center Teaching singles and couples social or competitive dance styles. From Waltz to Salsa to Swing, we do it all! Established in 1912.

Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn to dance - for exercise, wedding, vacation, business, just for fun... we have dance programs to meet your needs in the Oakbrook Terrace area. We specialize in teaching all of the popular dances so you can learn to dance salsa, swing, waltz, foxtrot, Argentine tango, Latin dances, ballroom dancing, country western and more. It's FEBRUARY!!

And what an exciting February we have in store!
Mike Desante is in the studio this month, followed by Barbara Ferchuck and Luis Dettling! Progress Check day is on the 10th which means if you like Monday lessons, you can also take a lesson on one of our rare unicorn Mondays!

We have a special Valentines Day party planned for this month so make sure to wear your hearts and red and pink attire!
We are especially excited for our Under the Sea Suburban Showcase! It will be a SPLASH! Time to showcase all your hard work and to dress up for our Under the Sea gala! Last day to sign up for this fun event is February 8th!! It would be fishy if we don't see you there!

Can't wait to dance with you all!

Here's to 2025!

We've kicked off the year with a fantastic New Years Ball and Misha was in our studio for some great coaching lessons! We have Chante Platt visiting soon as well as Mike DeSante in February. If you haven't signed up for the Suburban Showcase, now's the time! Last day for signup is February 8th. We're looking forward to seeing all of you dancing and having a fun time performing for you! Please note our schedule will be changing in February so talk to your instructors about the new times available in the studio! 2025 is going to be an amazing year for dance! We can't wait to share all the years adventures with you!

We are deep into December but we've been sooo busy! Daniel Heroux is in the studio right now, we had Team Match (congrats to Team Oakbrook for bringing home the win) and festival parties and Teach-a-thon is right around the corner! Teach-a-thon is the best way you can gift your instructor and it is also how your instructor best likes to give to you! Ask in studio how you can participate! If you would like a lesson between the holidays, there will be teachers in the studio! Take the opportunity to get out and move!

We had such a good time at our Halloween party this week but it's time for November already! And what a great November we've got!

We have Medal Ball / Grad Ball next weekend and our friends from Arthur Murray Schaumburg Dance Studio and Arthur Murray Orland Park are invited!

Festival starts this coming week! Support the studio and get lots of points for prizes on our Friday the 13th Christmas Murder Mystery party in December!

We have the amazingly talented and Scottish Victoria Brown in the studio this month and a not so secret visit from one of our favorite coaches, Troy Baeten.

Also on the calendar this month is MAMBO TUESDAY! It's going to be all mambo all night long! So fun! By the way, we're open two Mondays this month!! If you like dancing on Mondays, make sure you book your lessons in advance!

This month we are also gearing up for Team Match and are challenging the reigning champs at Naperville. Let's show them all the purple! !

Do you remember...It's September already! This week we announced our DOR picks for 2025 and we are headed to Chicago for the Safari Showcase this weekend. We have TWO unbelievable coaches coming in this month! We're so excited to have Snow Urbin and Chante Platt visit with us and work with us on our dancing!

AUGUST IS SIZZLIN!!!
While some of our friends are having fun in Greece at Dance-o-Rama, we're kicking off the month with some fun group classes and a double dose of Aldi's Latin Fire!! We have Northstar Dance-O-Rama in August!! Not only are we having a summer party on a Monday again, but we'll be cheering on all of our instructors and students who will be dancing at Northstar! If you'd like to spectate or go for dinner, make sure to chat with your instructor about it! We are so excited to have the amazing Carolina Orlovsky in the studio this month! And last but not least our 5th Annual Silver Screen Solo Spectacular is on August 24th! We have some amazing routines to watch...come hang out on the red carpet with us!!

Hey OBT family! We've hit the halfway point for 2024 already and we kicked it off with an amazing Summer Challenge on Saturday! We also have Andrea Leone in the studio this month! As we approach the end of Festival don't forget this is your chance to be one of the Mag 7 and join us on a night on the town!! If you haven't received all of your 7 stars, better hurry!!
