This weekend I attended the inaugural Georgia Balloon Soirée. A time for Georgia based balloon artist to gather and celebrate. A night to network, fellowship, and dance.

This delightful event was non for profit (and curated by Denise of . She made it very clear from onset; this was not her event. Yet, an event for Georgia Balloon Artist.

It just happened to be organized by the OG herself. The same women who hosted the first ever balloon artist cruise. Yes, that Denise. She just lent her talents, time, and resources to create this wonderful occasion for the industry she loves.

I know it wasn’t an easy task.
It’s very hard for people to buy into the first of anything, but you did it. I know you want no attention, flowers, or recognition, since you said this belongs to the Georgia Balloon Artist not you.
But Sis……. Hats off, glasses raised, thanks you for this. We danced all night and ate good.

Hello 2024.
I know we’re 2 weeks in but I’m just getting started 😆.

Welcome to the The Factory where all the memorable balloon designs begin🎉🎈
I just love it here. It’s so cute and organized.
She does have a reputation of being unruly after an event. So, a 2024 goal is to make sure I keep her clean and looking good.
I have made my share of balloon designs in here. From balloon bouquets, y’all know those are my favorites. 😍
I also love a centerpiece. Organic balloon garlands are up there for me with all their popularity. And let us not forget……the big daddy of them all. Classic Balloon decor. The bedrock of balloon design, arches and columns. I hope to make a lot more classic arches in here this year. I feel I haven’t had my fair share of them.

It was lots of fun creating this festive classic balloon arch. Helping Tanner Medical Center celebrate the NICU 5th anniversary. It was my pleasure creating and setting it up. Then I heard the babies that were in the NICU over the last five years were invited to celebrate with a parade, passing through the arch.

Whether it be a corporate event, grand opening, convention, prom, birthday parties, baby showers or personal celebrations, our team creates designs that cause SMILES and WOWS.

So, you maybe wondering where this love for balloons, events, all things celebrations comes from. As a child growing up in a large family there was never a lack of events. There was always a reason to celebrate. Birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, baby showers, barbecues, their was something to attend. Celebrating life and all it's life celebrations became part of who I am. As I matured and began planning my own events, I desired more. I needed more wow, more pizzazz, more wonder. I wanted to assure that I had set an atmosphere that was "Magical and Memorable". When hosting events I would buy balloons from local franchises to decorate, unaware of the possibilities. Over a decade ago I discovered the wonder of balloon designs and fell in love. I was amazed and fascinated by the designs created with balloons: Arches, Bouquets, Centerpieces, Dance Floors. I loved them all and wanted to know more. In 2006 I became West Georgia's first Certified Balloon Artist and Celebrations of Life, was born. After years of creating memorable celebrations, I stepped away from my love of events to focus on my family. In 2016 I returned to the wonder of balloons and fell in love all over again. After 2 years of great success it was time to renew, re-brand and relaunch with a new name and logo- Celebrations West GA. With the majority of our events held in West GA the name was befitting.
