Today on this episode of Brooke’s community kitchen corner I am spotlighting another local gem.

Starz Restaurant & Lounge

This place holds a very special place in my heart. My dearest friend Kathy Clark was the owner for many years. She was one of the first people to truly support my business. Unfortunately she passed away a few months ago. She is always remembered & holds a special place in my heart. ♥️

During her battle with cancer, ownership changed over to another friend of mine Sarah Petrotta She is truly a culinary expert and has really transformed the menu into something very special.

It’s a great locals bar with lots of fun things to do. Pools tables, tvs, game machines etc.

They do brunch on Sundays too.

She is really building this place up. All the girls that work there are true gems!

Give them a follow so you can see all the specials they offer everyday.

Everything ever created by Sarah has been delicious and you will always get a warm welcome when entering this local
establishment.

Go give them a try! You’ll thank me later!

It's been a wild ride. There were days where I wasn't sure if we were going to make it.The best decision I ever made was to step outside of my comfort zone and get a little uncomfortable.Now I make my own schedule and I don't stress all the little things that seemed so unbearable back then.This didn't come easy & it still doesn't now. Be prepared to work harder than you've ever worked in your life.But, I'll tell you this. When you're working for your own little slice of cheese, the rewards taste so much better.This is your friendly reminder that you can do hard things. I had a baby before I was an adult. I would go on to have 3 more. I dedicated most of my young adult life to taking care of my babies and doing whatever jobs I could to make money and still be with them. I never finished college. I had no idea what I was doing, I just took the JUMP!If I can do it, you can too. I'll be rooting for you sis. Cheese & Cheers, Brooke

I have decided I am going to start back up “Brooke’s community kitchen corner!”

Every Monday I will feature a small business in the area in the hopes of expanding their business and giving you beauties new delicious local gems to try.

If you would like to be featured on one of my Monday spotlights, please feel free to message me with some information on your business and some pictures.

I’ve featured local bakers, bread makers, ice cream shops, board builders, & more.

Today I would like to highlight one of my personal favorite local gems in the 757 Scotty Quixx West

The owners Crystal Ososkie Ford & Marc Ford are truly amazing VB locals.

Their food is DELICIOUS! Any chance we get, we are there to enjoy the most PERFECT tots you have ever tried in your life. Ask for a side of queso and you’ll thank me later. The old bay wings are also the best in the area. Trust me, I enjoy them often. Everything we’ve ever gotten there was delicious. It is a family friendly place with lots of tvs. They are big sports fanatics so your favorite games are always on! They happen to be fellow Orioles fans so we have bonded over baseball!

Stop in just time you’re in the area for a drink or bite to eat. I promise you’ll be back!
