We are thrilled to announce the return of our highly anticipated event, MIGHTY MINIS, taking place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at The Garage VB!

This unique art gallery experience offers a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase their talents.

We are seeking artists to contribute three gallery-wrapped 8x8 original artworks for this biannual group art show.

How to Apply:

Artists interested in participating may submit their applications starting February 1, 2025 @ www.thegaragevb.com/calltoartists

You do not need to have your completed pieces ready at the time of application, but we do require examples of your recent work to make our selections.

Caesar’s new body of work is a series of canvases based on the rural scenery of the lower Chesapeake Bay.

Having spent the past few years living and working in the tidewater region, taking photos of the fields and the reeds throughout the changing seasons and the rising tides has been a regular past time. These images become the paintings.

The brushwork is loose and lofty, pushing and pulling horizon lines, fencing off water and light. This aesthetic is under the influence of impressionist painters like Bonnard and Monet, and the landscape paintings of the late great Wayne Thiebaud. In all, this show offers a solid group of traditional landscape paintings on canvas, celebrating the subtle beauty of this unique coastal community.

Free and open to the public!

The Liminal Garden will transform the raw expanse of The Garage into an interactive fever dream; an enchanting & strange experience swirling with fairy lights, flowers, oddities and, of course, art.

A grad, Evan has worked with , , , and the MacArthur Mall.

Evan has focused his interests for art in tattooing for the last four years.

Using watercolors, Evan has mixed his knowledge of conceptual fine arts, illustration and design into a unique conversation of the evolving industry, artistic presence, sacrifice, repetition and surrendering yourself to permanence.

Prints will be available for sale as well as original paintings, there will be tattoo coloring books and a tattoo art collective zine focusing on tattoo arts and art culture that stems out of Virginia.

Show will run from January 13th - January 25th.

Cannot wait!

After decades of capturing beauty through my lens, I’m finally stepping back into the art world with “Ethereal,” my first solo photography show since 2007. This is more than an exhibit for me—it’s a celebration of dreams, courage, and the beauty that surrounds us every day.

Virginia has always been my greatest muse. From the gentle waves of our beaches to the flowing waterways and stunning mountain peaks, these landscapes inspire the dreamlike, ethereal images I create.

I’d love for you to join me at in the (1703 Mediterranean Ave, Virginia Beach) on Saturday, March 15th at 6:30 PM for the opening night. This show runs through March 23, but sharing the opening with friends, family, and supporters would mean the world to me. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
