Happy Anniversary to us at Catering Concepts!!!
30 Years in business this weekend! Thanks to Sharon Slipow and the Rosenblatt family-we catered our first Bat Mitzvah as a company on this day in ‘93! 🎉🎊🍾
Thanks to all that have been with us over the years, friends like Jim Graziadei& Juanita Graziadei introduced us to event planner Reva Stein, who really got us established in the formative years.
So many clients, staff, friend or-vendors became extended family for us.
When we moved across the parking lot to expand our operation in Suite D& E, (later becoming A-E) on Jack Rabbit Rd in 1997, the Lord gave me this verse as I stepped into the vacant space wondering if we could grow to fill that space-Isaiah 54:2&3-“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; for you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left,….”
And boy, did we ever expand after moving into those new spaces!
It has been our joy working with all of our extended family, sharing laughs and crazy stories of how we adapted and overcame so many crazy situations, and we would do it all again with all of you!!!

A crane operator who worked for 27 years was diagnosed with sarcoma. He never missed a day of work until his diagnosis. He has no access to short or long-term disability through his employer. He wants to return to work to retire with full retirement in 3 years. They live WITHIN their means. Fortunately he has health insurance and his job is secure. He will keep his health insurance for 6 months. His wife is disabled with limited income. Eviction looms as they are behind on rent. They face car repossession. This is a TEMPORARY crisis for them. Catering Concepts filled a total of 5 catering orders for this wedding from Friday night through Sunday night!
Friday night casual Seafood and Sausage Boil Rehearsal Dinner at a rented house, Brunch/Lunch to two houses Saturday and Sunday, Saturday night wedding on the Edmonds family estate with Oyster Shooter Raw Bar, Whiskey Bar, Belly Dancer, Ho**ah Lounge and fireworks, followed by a BBQ picnic and lawn games on Sunday afternoon at the rented house. What a weekend!

Big Top Entertainment - tents, lighting, tables, butterfly ceiling installation, etc.
