E and E Special Events Professional DJ services for your Wedding or Special Event Ezra and Emily are a dynamic husband and wife team serving in the wedding industry since 2001.

They have had the privilege of working with many wonderful couples. Ezra and Emily have been married since April 2002 and absolutely LOVE meeting new couples as they start their lives together. Professional Musician and DJ, Ezra is not your typical DJ. His love for music has lead him to study music and he had A Masters of Music degree! As a DJ for over 20 years, he began as a teenager with a pair

of Technics 1200 turntables and records, playing music in front of very large crowds. Over the years he continues to keep up with advances in DJ technology. Now using digital media, Ezra still stays true to his years of experience as a musician and DJ. Ezra understands that all events are not alike, and he wants you to have the event that you have always dreamed of. From a relaxed, intimate setting to a fun filled night of dancing, Ezra has the ability and experience to steer the atmosphere of your event in your desired direction. His extensive experience as a Master of Ceremonies enables him to make all necessary announcements and keep the event on the specified timeline.

So I recently performed at a local stand up comedy night dressed as Mr. T! My impersonation is pretty decent if I do say so myself. It was fun until another guy dressed as Rocky Balboa showed up and had much funnier jokes.
I pity the fool that believes this post! (Happy April Fools' Day) BTW, Mr. T is a national treasure!

4. The guests had so much fun snapping photos and seeing them almost immediately displayed on the projection wall... some couldn't stop laughing during cocktail hour!

Last summer I had the pleasure of reuniting with my High School crew! "DR NO" did a reunion concert at a fantastic venue in Manitou Springs. What's crazy is, we just heard that this venue has now closed. Whether you are going back to your "hometown" to jam with your HS buddies, or a venue is closing and moving to another location, one thing is sure... Life Happens Fast! Make the most of it!

What are some important DJ concerns as you plan your wedding? Here are a few things to consider:

1. DJs perform the best when we are near your dance floor! If we are placed far away from the dancing, it can be difficult to interact with your guests as they party! Sometimes it can't be helped but, optimally, we love to be near the action!

2. If we have to be separated from the dance floor, please seat your "party animals" between us and the dancefloor. We enjoy celebrating with all of our clients and their families, but Grandma/Grandparents may not like being seated right next to our soundsystem during dancing (or even dinner for that matter). Loudspeakers are a wonderful technology, but sound has a "point of origin." How strange is it to have 💪strong sound at the tables and "less strong" sound on the dance floor?!

3. What is more important, look or sound?... TRICK QUESTION!!!! Both are important. Make sure we know your color scheme/dance floor dimensions/overall aesthetic, and we should be able to build our "rig" accordingly. We want to fit your wedding vision!!

4. Lighting? YES! The dancefloor can be amazing even without lighting if your DJ mixes well! But if you add lights, you will increase the energy in amazing ways! (Sidenote: Randomly generated light shows are simply annoying!😬 Make sure your DJ has a way to time the lights to the music! Your reception will be all the better for it!)

2023 was a great year! We feel amazingly blessed to have been able to party with so many couples and families! As we look forward to 2024, we wanted to pause and look back on a lot of what 2023 had to offer! IG only allows 20 tags so please don't be upset. This is like a historical DJ mix except played by a live concert band! This is my favorite song about America. It contains 15+ different themes based on pieces of music from both the North and the South. They are proud of themselves, which leads to them trying to outdo each other Then they disagree. Then they argue. Then the FIGHT! Then... out of the ashes they are reconciled by a power that is higher and more capable then they are! Then the sing together and maintain their distinctive personality... but they sing together! This is a beautiful piece of music! It really is like a DJ "quickmix" of classic American tunes.
