My oldest son ,Mika, texted me this poem. Needless to say , I was in tears reading it. He is trying to practice his driving, and this last time we got into a heated argument. He is a bit of a rebel at heart, and he was not following my directives. I was extremely upset only because of the importance of "Obeying" the rules. Immediately , the scripture came to heart. "IF YOU LOVE ME (GOD), YOU WILL OBEY ME." So many times we try to do it our way in life. We just dont like to submit fully to commands because we view them as restrictive. We try to do it our way while our pride fills our chests, but, in the end,.....it is all just "air." Obeying and following directions and advice is a way to learn and respect the wisdom of God and those who are in our lives to protect and guide us. How many regrets has Disobediance piled on us?
