🎡 In Loving Memory of Terry Allen Knee 🎡

The Wabash County Fair Board joins the community in mourning the loss of Terry Allen Knee, who passed away on July 22 at the age of 78.

Terry was a proud former member of the Fair Board, serving for many years with dedication, heart, and a deep love for 4-H and the community. His contributions to the Wabash County 4-H Fair stretched across decades, and his presence was felt in everything from the planning to the behind-the-scenes work that made fair week possible.

Even after retiring from the board, Terry remained a strong supporter of the fair and was always looking for ways to stay involved and help out. He had a servant’s heart and a work ethic that never quit.

We’re grateful for his years of service, his steady leadership, and the example he set for all of us.

💚 Preferred memorials are to the Wabash County 4-H
📍 Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 PM at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, with visitation Friday from 3:00–7:00 PM.

Terry, thank you for your time, your care, and your commitment to the youth of Wabash County. You made a difference.

We work all year to bring this fair to life, and it’s your support that makes it all worth it. We’re already thinking about 2026, with a promise to keep improving, growing, and making it better each and every year.

The energy, the crowds, and the racing were all incredible. We’re wrapping up the Wabash County Fair tomorrow night with the Demolition Derby — always a fan favorite and sure to bring the heat! 🔥💥

Wabash, what a way to kick off the fair! 🎉
Night one is in the books, and we are so grateful for an amazing evening together.

The worship music from Lighthouse Mission was powerful — you could feel the presence of Christ through every song. ✝️🎶
The kids had a blast in the bouncy houses, and those boiled hot dogs hit the spot! 🌭😄

But the fun is just getting started…
🎡 THE CARNIVAL BEGINS TOMORROW NIGHT! 🎡
And don’t forget the Tractor Pull, too — it’s going to be a night you won’t want to miss.

🚐💥 THE DERBY JUST GOT EVEN CRAZIER 💥🚐

The Wabash Co Fair Demolition Derby is unleashing VAN CLASS — and let’s just say, these grocery-getters are DONE behaving.

These are the same vans that:
✅ Survived the school drop-off line on a Monday
✅ Hauled 6 kids and a golden retriever to soccer
✅ Carried 14 bags of groceries with the hatch barely shut
…and now they’re crashing head-on in front of a screaming crowd.

They’ve had enough juice boxes. Enough PTA meetings. Enough “Do we have snacks?”

Fair week is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited!

The Wabash County Fairgrounds are alive with energy, anticipation, and the traditions we all know and love. From the scent of sweet corn and elephant ears in the air to the laughter of kids running toward the rides, this is more than just a fair it’s a celebration of community, family, and home.

The Wabash County Fair Board is honored to welcome you to a week full of unforgettable memories. Whether you’re cheering in the grandstands, showing livestock with pride, dancing under the lights, or just soaking it all in with loved ones, this is your fair.

We’ve poured our hearts into making this year’s fair the best yet. It’s a time to reconnect with neighbors, support our youth, and enjoy the simple moments that make Wabash County special.

The Wabash County Fair Association held its 2024 Annual Meeting tonight. We are pleased to announce the re-election of board members Jason Koch, Teff Koch, Jesse Tackett, and Taner Eads. We also extend a warm welcome to our newest board member, Victor Treska.

Following the board member elections, our officers for the upcoming year were selected:

• Cindi Younce – Treasurer
• Jesse Tackett – Secretary
