Come to the Action Rental WacoARC Events booth (center booth in the back of the room) at 2:30 pm where the 10 players will be announced.

Each team will consist of 3 people. Two people designing and producing and one person wearing and modeling the gown.

Broken Spoke Entertainment will emcee this event, announcing all the rules and suggestions for you that the judges will be looking for.

Tell us your (their) love story! How did y’all meet?

Unbeknownst to them, Marah and Austin’s love story began when Marah was just twelve years old. They met in our church youth group and although Marah had a little crush on Austin, they were just two kids who hung out at church and talked from time to time. Austin got older and went his own way, although his parents continued to attend our church. Fast-forward to Marah being 19, she started going to his parent’s house to spend time with his niece, who was also her friend. They would cross paths, but nothing really came of it. Marah was focused on God and her relationship with Him and not looking for a boyfriend or a husband. Austin was on his way back to a relationship with God, for his foundation was strong, he just took a detour for a while. Austin came back to church and rededicated his life to the Lord. Just a few weeks went by and all of a sudden, these two “saw” each other. It was love instantly. They have only dated two short months, but you wouldn’t know it. They believe God put them together and if you know you know. We know God has a great plan for them. Both are called into ministry, and we know they will do great things for the Lord.

When I was a whole 12 years old “HE” moved into my apartment complex. I was obsessed and kinda stalked him on a daily basis. He showed absolutely no interest. I needed to at least know his name. One day I hollered , “what’s your name “? He answered and said Ronny. For months I wrote I love Ronny on all of my school book covers. He really made my ♥️ happy. He finally gave me a chance when long story short… we became parents at 14 and 16. On May 20 1984 “Monty” and I were married at a park with a small group of family and friends. There were 4 more kids to follow.

Tell us your (their) love story! How did y’all meet?

Dustin and I met when I was 12 at the good ole skating rink! Little did we know our lives were connected with an invisible string long before that! His aunt and my mom were highschool best friends! What started as a crush on the DJ of the skating rink grew over the years and we became best friends. We stayed best friends for years until one day, he kept asking me to hang out. And of course, I said why not? But this time, he meant it as a date. Now 13 years later, we have two amazing boys, and my two amazing bonus kiddos. And every year, it grows more into our own perfect chaos. ❤️

10 years ago he asked me to marry him and we stood up at the courthouse on a whim because we couldn’t imagine spending another second without being husband and wife. Years went on until it was his sisters wedding (my bff) and I was maid of honor. As I came down the aisle all done up, he cried. When we were walking down the aisle together he looked at me and told me it was time for a real wedding. And of course I could never say no. I’d remarry him every year if he’d let me. We’ve come so far in the 13 years we’ve been together. So many ups and downs, laughs, cries, and even more growth. I cannot wait to see the man I’ve always known was my only at the end of an aisle, choosing me again. Because little does he know, I’d choose him a million times over. It will ALWAYS be him. ❤️

Tell us your (their) love story! How did y’all meet?

Our love story began long before we knew it would even be a “story” to tell. Nick and I met when we were probably around 5 and 7 years old. We were both foster children at the time, and our foster parents were best friends. We had many play dates and even then, we were strangely drawn to one another. Eventually, he was uprooted to another foster home and I was later adopted by my foster parents. The years passed by and one day I answered the phone to find him on the other end wanting to visit the family and catch up. I was a Sophomore in high school at that point and things quickly took off. My mom was sick and hospitalized not long after that and ended up passing away and Nick stuck by my side through all of it. He was always my strong and sure thing, the one person I could always look to and trust whole heartedly. We went to the courthouse in 2009 and signed a certificate, making it official but never having the wedding we both dreamt of. We always planned to “one day” have a celebration of our love story with all of our family and friends present but never really in a position to make it happen. We chose to put all of our finances towards building our family after struggling with infertility for a combined 11 years and 2 losses. We have 2 miracle boys who we are extremely grateful for and would make our big day all the more special. This year will mark our 15th anniversary of being married, and it would mean the world to celebrate it as a wedding with our family and friends in the crowd.

I think that we deserve to win this wedding because we have already been through so many years of trials and tribulations but have always found a way to just love one another through it. We have stood by so many and shown them that the reality of a true love story is that it’s not perfection or like a storybook, there will be many times that you struggle as an individual and as a couple. Remembering why you fell in love and supporting one another through those times builds real strength and helps to lay a strong foundation. I would love to have photos and memories of our big day to leave my kids with to one day show their kids and grandkids. Good luck everyone!

Tell us your (their) love story! How did y’all meet?

Jacob and I met back in 2021. It was a Friday night, both of us were out with some friends at the largest dance floor in central Texas.. Melody Ranch! Jacob’s friend (Kim) was on the hunt and determined to find a girl for him that night, I happened to be sitting a few seats down when she comes over and pointed him out which I wasn’t really interested until I was! After she explains he’s shy and quiet I went over to introduced myself and he offered to buy me a drink. We talked for a bit, finished our drinks, and he asked me to dance.. when I tell you this was the bravest man ever! We get on the floor and come to find out he has no rhythm and two left feet but only asked because he saw I was dancing most of the night!! A year later he proposed on my birthday in July of 2022! We both got lucky that night and 3 months later were surprised with our blessing, a baby boy! We went from a wedding registry to a baby registry within months and postponed the wedding planning! In April of 2023 our baby boy made his big arrival and it has been the most beautiful journey to see our family grow! It has been a year and half since our engagement and we can’t wait to officially tie the knot!

Robert and I met in 2017 through a cousin of mine , I had just lost everything in a house fire and didn’t know where to go from there or even what I was going to do with myself. My cousin Jacob called me and asked if I needed a ride to my uncles benefit I didn’t really feel like going but I did to try to get away and take a break from all that had been going on. Robert just so happen to be with Jacob and the time (he secretly knew he was going to try to hook us up) we just didn’t know it yet! Neither of us had much interest yet and hardly talked through the night but we exchanged numbers anyways and went on a date the next weekend the rest is history after the date we never left each others side and have been together since. Here we are 7years later with 2 BEAUTIFUL children Alainah and Waylon and have been engaged for 3 years.
