Did you know wood flowers can be used for more than just home decor? They're a wonderful option for special events like weddings, school dances, and wedding showers--any occasion you'd use real flowers for, you can use wood flowers! And unlike real flowers, they won't wilt by the end of the night.

Main Street Wadsworth will be collecting donations (water, shelf-stable food, first aid supplies, blankets, hygiene products, wipes, baby formula, etc.) to send with relief worker’s to North Carolina on Monday/Tuesday (10/7 & 10/8).
There will be a box at the MSW table during October First Friday: Pumpkin Palooza & for over the weekend donations, please contact [email protected].

I went to Michael's the other day and felt inspired by their Haunted Forest collection. Everything was white and green and oh so spooky--the perfect palette for some unique Halloween arrangements. Here's one of the projects I used those succulents for 💜 This is a special one. I hand paint all my flowers, but with these succulents, I went back in for a second, third, and even fourth round of painting to add detail and dimension. The result is an eye-catching piece of wall art (yes, you can hang this one!) that is sure to brighten any room in your home.
This piece is available next Sunday, October 6, at A Gathering In TheVillage- Fall Handmade Street Market from 11-4.

As for my weekend plans, I think I'll be stopping by Wadsworth Brewing Company at some point to see if they have any of that delicious pickle beer left 🍻
