I am currently watching Jon Stewart's The Daily Show and it brought me back to how I became familiar with this show. Annie had come home from school and she was probably a sophomore. She was laughing, her whole body was laughing and she was watching Jon Stewart. She hooked me.😊😊😊😊😊😊

I always admired Annie so much for her abstainance from drugs and alcohol. I realize I have no idea what she would have decided to do in college, but know without a doubt she abstained from 8th grade through senior year. In talking with me a lot of reason she had for doing this was knowing it was dangerous for the body and unhealthy. I had also decided my fridge would always be a boring fridge and never had any alcohol in it. Whether or not this had anything to do with the reason she kept from partaking in drugs or alcohol, I don't know. My brother would say it was unusual that my daughter was not a party girl in high school since I was. Of course, the '70's were so much that. I am still proud of the strong woman Annie was who made up her own mind. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Annie is definitely on my mind during the month of September. September 29 is definitely the darkest day of September. Remember Annie. Remember her laugh and smile. Her zany sense of humor. I look forward to the seniors this year where one will be a recipient of her scholarship. Do good this month in Annie's memory and honor. She had nothing but goodness in her heart.🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜💗💗💗💗💗

A reminder to seniors that in order to be considered for Annie's scholarship you have to be part of the Dollars for Scholars. I am given 6 or 7 applications to choose from with no name on them.
