I have picked a very good applicant for Annie's scholarship. I had three to pick from and all three were good

I want to
be able to do normal things
things that I
used to love
things that I should still love.

I can’t help
but battle the shame
that I’m falling behind,
lagging due to loss
groaning in my grief.
I can’t keep up today.
I just can’t keep up.

A reminder to seniors that in order to be considered for Annie's scholarship you have to be part of the Dollars for Scholars. I am given 6 or 7 applications to choose from with no name on them.
