We had a wonderful act of kindness happen in the shop today.
We had two customers in the shop at the same time today, one was a young person shopping for prom flowers and the other an adult needing flowers for a friend.
The young person was looking at our prom section while the adult waited for us to arrange their flowers, they both ended up ready to check out about the same time. I had a nice chat with the adult while I rang up their flowers, and the young person waited patiently.
As the adult turned to go, they saw the young person waiting to make their purchase and decided to purchase their prom flowers for them.
The surprise and appreciation on the young person’s face was evident, and my heart was filled with joy. If you happen to be reading this you know who you are and please know that you brought 2 people great joy today with your kindness and wise advice to the young person. Thank you for making their day AND mine!
Kindness matters.
