Sometimes we get so caught up in the holiday 🎄 season that we forget to check ourselves and our friends.

Yes! JRs Barn is a beautiful affordable wedding venue! But we are more 🤍🤍 when you book here you become family ☺️

Ben Groskreutz is one of those people who always makes you laugh! He’s always ready to help those that need an extra hand 😭 and we are so blessed that he is our DJ!

Ben Graduated from MSU Mankato with a
Bachelors degree in Music Industry in 2022! 

He is a ✨ perfect DJ✨
Because….
🎶 he reads the crowd for what song would make you  boogie
🎶 has great  intuition on timing
🎶 has the proper equipment for our ceremony locations

JRs Barn is a 4th generation farm? And the 5th and 6th generations work here! 🥰 it’s truly a family business! ✨

The barn ❤️was built in 1912, it was built after the corn crib (now remodeled grooms room) and house! 🏠

The barn has a new roof, fresh paint, a new side AND our beautiful steel deck! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Joel, the J of JRs Barn, is a welder! He made this deck to last through a tornado! 🌪️ it’s here to stay! Not to mention how ✨ beautiful it is!✨

Why is it important to have a venue with staff on a wedding day? 🤷‍♀️

As a bride preparing for your wedding day, 💍 there are many people that love you and want to help! Aunts, cousins, friends 🥹💛

This is my gift 🎁 These people are very important to you and love you and they will play a significant role in making your dream day come to life 🥹

However some details should not ❌ need to be taken care of by those people. They should be ✨WITH you ✨

That is when the venue staff steps in- taking the trash out 🗑️ clearing tables 🍽️ directing guests, cleaning bathroom messes, moving tables, cleaning up spilled drinks 🍹 putting dessert out 🍰and many more tasks! ⚡️

These are the things that our staff at JRs Barn does behind the scenes that make your wedding day seamless and memorable ✨ for everyone ✨

We had a ✨ wonderful couple ✨ get married at our venue JRs Barn last year that had it 💛ALL💛 Planned out!

This bride was prepared! She had a whole binder of how she envisioned her day! 🌟📖🌟 We LOVED IT!

This made decorating so much easier! She had a ✨Vibe ✨
a
✨Feel ✨ that she wanted and it was easier to decorate knowing her desired style.
The problem she had was that she ran out of time to decorate! ❌
Thankfully, our team stepped in and finished the job by decorating what was left!
✨it was spectacular!!

💯 this is why it is so important to have a venue that where wedding days are their passion 🥹✨

💍What does it mean to have a day of coordinator on wedding day? 🤷‍♀️

💛 It means having your best friend with you instead of her running back and forth to talk to the groomsmen.

💛 It means staying present while taking your pictures instead of having to tell someone where the desserts are going to be

💛 It means not stressing about what time it is because Renae will let you know when you need to be ready

🥹 Having a day of coordinator is more then just someone with a check list 📋 it’s someone who can take the pressure off the bride so you can fully relax ✨
