We were blessed with solid ice, incredible luck catching fish, and the honor of hosting Paul, a past Camp Bliss attendee and a proud WW2 veteran. Watching him catch fish alongside fellow vets was truly heartwarming.
Thank you to all our vets who shared this adventure with us. Your stories and spirit are what make these getaways unforgettable. And a huge shout out to our sponsors! June is PTSD Awareness Month.
What Is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?
PTSD can be the result of experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. The specific nature of the trauma can and does vary greatly.
We understand that PTSD vastly affects many veterans, which is why we offer the services and getaways here at Camp Bliss to support those veterans who may suffer from PTSD.
We are eager to help spread this awareness throughout the month by sharing resources, research, and support each week of the month.
