🎃 Pumpkin season has ended for us here at the farm. We get many questions about what we do with our remaining pumpkins at the end of each season. This is our third year donating to Metro Catholic Outreach in Cedar Rapids.
Last week with the help of our wonderful neighbors the Van Ettens, we were able to donate 2 pickup loads of pumpkins to those in need. Many were enjoyed by families for carving and many were cooked and consumed. We finished off our donation today with crates of squash for MCO.
What a great experience for our boys to load pumpkins into families vehicles and be of service in our local community.
Should you feel the call to volunteer or donate, check out Metro Catholic Outreach. Their needs are posted each week as well as number of families/homeless served. They are always looking for volunteers, especially as we approach the holiday season.

🌸The 2024 flower season has come to an end🌸

We received a killing frost at the farm last night, which marks the end of our season. We can’t say THANK YOU enough to our amazing customers & community who continue to support our family! Thank you for loving our flowers and supporting us in all we do. We love you all! 🫶🏻

As for me, I’ve started the process of tearing out flower beds and planting lots of flower babies. I’m already preparing the farm for spring blooms in hopes of another beautiful season in 2025!

Holiday candles and goodies are right around the corner! The farm stand remains OPEN throughout the holiday season and filled with our handmade goods. More on that later on.
