Happy Easter!

Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross has changed my entire life. I’m so thankful for a loving Savior that wants to spend every day with me and made a way for that to happen on the cross. ✝️

Sneak peeks for this senior boy that rocked his senior session!

Here’s our top 3 tips to have a successful senior session!

1️⃣ Choose the right location and time.

Your photographer will definitely be able to help with this but selecting a location that reflects you and your “vibe” will make you that much happier about the end product. As far as timing, photos from 1-2 hours before sunset are where it’s at!

2️⃣ Pick outfits that YOU feel your best in!

Generally, dressier outfits photograph better but just cause it’s trendy doesn’t mean you need to wear it. Wear whatever makes you feel confident so you can rock your senior session without feeling insecure. If heels make you feel 💃🏼, wear them! If wearing a suit coat makes you feel comfortable, go for it! 👨🏼‍💼Generally, senior sessions allow for 2 outfits so bring one casual and one dressy.
The way you feel about yourself will reflect in your photos!

3️⃣ Relax and have fun!

This is the only time in your life that you’ll get to be this age and be graduating high school. It’s a one-time thing generally. 🤪 When you go into someone’s house, generally the photos on the walls of their children are from kindergarten and high school graduation. When you’re able to relax and enjoy it, it makes for some amazing moments! 🥰
Enjoy it! When you relax and just be yourself, the authentic, cute smiles will happen and be captured and you’ll have those memories and so will your parents to look back on for years to come!

Are Monday introductions a thing? Well, here we are either way! 😆

Hannah is one of our amazing wedding planners/coordinators!

Hannah has been in the wedding industry for almost 10 years! 🤩 Her favorite parts of the wedding day are watching two families being intertwined together, the laughter, smiles, and nervousness as the doors swing open, and the surprises that happen during the reception. 💒

Some of Hannah’s favorite things are swimming, animals, and thrifting! She loves spending time with family and friends!

Things you may NOT know about Hannah are that she at one time was a volunteer firefighter and is a certified first responder. She’s a leader in a youth group and hopes to one day skydive! 🪂

Hannah will actually be getting married this year herself so we’re super excited for her big day! 🥰🥳💍👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏼‍♂️

We love Hannah and all the great things she does to make the wedding day👌🏼!

Today would be a great day to introduce y’all to one of our newest associates, Elisabeth- more commonly known as “Liz.”

She has been officially (we’ve been working together for a year now to get everything organized) brought on this month for us as a Chief of Staff and is helping us with emails, office work, marketing, lead generation, search engine optimization, time management, and doubling our business in every way! 💞

I’m Alesia, the wedding planner, photographer, and owner of AlesiaKim and Co.

Almost 10 years ago, I was graduating from college in Indiana. I really had no idea where God would lead me. I moved back home in hopes to find a job doing what I had gone to college for, Media and Graphic Design minoring in Math. 🧮

God had other plans. I began teaching high school math at the same school I grew up in and loved the students and had a wonderful boss. (The school principal) I was doing some photography on the side to make extra money since I had taken classes in it in college and enjoyed it. 📸

A flood came to south Louisiana in 2016 (we had 4 feet of water in our house) and that’s when everything changed. 🫢

Since 2015, I had had crush on a guy from my church named Albert. 👌🏼 I read one of my favorite books ever called “The Prodigal God” that changed my view of myself and God’s love for me. 🥰

Long story short, Albert and I just celebrated our 6-year anniversary this past week. 🤗🥰 During our marriage, I honed my craft and began a photography business all while Albert went to work during the day and school at night. My first 3 years, I made nothing. I put everything I made back into the business which was a hard reality on paper. 😆

I had dreams of forming an associate team but really thought I would never make it from point A to point B. 🤩

In 2020, I realized wedding planning was something I had a natural gift for because of my personality. Planning timelines and things for weddings was right up my alley!

Fast forward to 2022 and our precious son, Luke, was born. 💙 I truly believe it was God answering a prayer of growth in my business for me that seemed at the time like a bad thing. I was working and barely keeping up being a business owner and a wife and mom.😪 God thrust me into finding associates to keep up with all of my roles.

AlesiaKim and Co. was born! 🌟

I am so thankful for each and every one of our couples and clients trusting and choosing us to be part of their wedding days! We truly have dream jobs serving sweet couples in love! 🤩 It’s y’all who make AlesiaKim and Co. possible! Love y’all! 2024 here we come! 🥳

One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is getting to see ALL of my family! Since we’re in Louisiana ⚜️, Georgia 🍑, Indiana 🌟, and North Carolina 🐏, it takes some navigating but we really have the best time together! 🥰

We’ve laughed and cried (happy tears) together this season over God’s grace, love, sacrifice, immutability, and all the wonderful things about Him. 🙌🏼 He’s been way too good to us and we’re just in awe! 😍

I am so thankful for my personal family as well as my business family!
